Chapter 8

Gulf's POV

I am nervously sitting on his bed. I don't know how to start.

"Mew."
"Gulf."

We called each other at the same time.

"Go ahead."
"No,you first." He replied.

"Well, about Joss. Last week we've been.." he cut me off.

"I heard that part already Gulf. What I want to know is if do you like me?" That was a very direct question that needs to be answered directly too.

"I do." I saw him smiling.

"Let's just make it straight. I'm going to court you now for real."

I don't know how to answer him.

"But can we do it secretly?I'm not ready yet."

"What are you afraid of? We can handle this. Trust me." He is assuring me.

"The last time I reveal, my past relationship failed. If you don't like it I will understand you."

I saw him messing his hair up.

"Okay, but this is for some time only. I'll help you build the courage so we can say it to everyone. I don't like hiding." I just nodded.

"Now, do you want to stay here for the night?"
I froze..

"No no. I wanna go home." He said he'll court me and I don't wanna end up sleeping with him right away. He looks so tempting. I am not sure if I can able to resist his charm.

He laughed a bit. "Okay,let me change my clothes so I can bring you home."

So this is only what we will talk about. He should have just texted me.

He drove me home. When we reached the dorm, I was about to unbuckle my seatbelt when he stopped me. He stepped outside the car and went to my side. He opened the door again for me. "Please let me." He then unbuckled my seatbelt.

When I stepped outside the car. He grabbed my hand and kissed it with his eyes closed. Why do I feel like a princess being kissed by my prince charming. He is really making me feel good.

"Good night and sweet dreams."

"Mew?" He looked at me. Why am I feeling nervous in front of him. "Drive safely and text me when you get home." I saw his eyes and his lips formed a smile widely.

"I will,Gulf. Go in." When I entered the dorm I saw him walking back to the driver's seat. I touched my chest, I wonder if he heard it beating for him.

I cannot sleep because of the romantic excitement I am feeling. I just waited for his text so I can have a good night.

Mew's POV

I slammed the steering wheel because of my happiness. Damn it. He asked me to drive safely damn it. I never been excited to this line all my life. I will drive safely for you baby. Damn it. I look like crazy right now smiling while driving. I can't wait to arrive home so I can text him.

Just when I passed the gate. I stopped immediately the car and texted him. "Home baby. Safe and sound."

Oh did I just called him baby? It really suits him. I wanna squeeze him because of his cuteness and makes me want to take care of him.

"Good night then. I'm sleepy already. 😴😘"

Oh that last emoji. Damn it. I kissed my screen phone and replied again. "Sleep well 😘🥰"
I never knew that these emojis are fucking useful.

I entered the house and kissed my mom,dad and even Becca.

"I'll sleep early. I love you all." I excitedly went to my room.

I even heard my mom asking if why I am in so good mood.

Of course mom, who wouldn't be happy when your love one texted you a kissing emoji.

I am having the best sleep of my life tonight.

Gulf's POV

I never thought the serious Mew would be so romantic like this. Is he for real? Does he really likes me. I hope I am not getting excited for nothing.

I received his text calling me baby. Oh my gosh. All I can do is just bury my face on my pillow and kicked my legs into the air. Damn it Mew. You really have the talent of making my heart flutters.

I went to the school early only to see Joss waiting in my classroom.

"Love."

"Don't call me that Joss. I clearly said that we are done."

"Is there really no hope for us again?"

"Nothing anymore."

"Can we atleast be back at being friends like before? I really miss you."

"If its just friendship then there would be no problem." He tapped my shoulder but someone slap his hand.

"Mew we are just talking." I told Mew because he doesn't look happy by the looks of him.

"Talking and touching. And I thought you two were done already."

"He just wanted to be my friend again." Why am I nervous explaining this to him as if he saw me cheating. We are not even boyfriends yet.

"Friends your ass. tss." He is looking directly at Joss.

"Yes friends Mew. Why? Are you not confident enough on your place? Or you are scared that he will like me again?" Damn this Joss.

"Stop it already Joss. Go back to your room."
I pushed him away gently.

Becca already entered the room, so we are both left outside.

"He really just want to be friends again Mew."

"Now I need to deal with your ex boyfriend also."

"There is really nothing to worry about him. I know him and he will stop already."

"Annoying." He placed a paper bag on my palm.

"What is this?"

"Just finish eating that. I woke up early to prepare that for you." He then left and touch my cheek.

"Open it please dear. My brother won't let me see it before you. He really took his time for that." Becca excitedly ask as soon as I sat beside her.

When we opened the lunch box. Becca laughed hard while I froze looking at this cute little thing.

"So ugly and corny. My brother is so embarrassing."

I saw a heart shaped sandwich with a smiley. It was like a kissing emoji. There are also fresh fruits on the side. I can't help but giggle. How can you be this cute Mew? 😘
