▹ Playing with pluto

It was a cold morning in Seoul which came a shock due to the warm weather they had recently been enduring, not that George minded, he quite enjoyed being able to wear a hoodie without receiving weird looks.

With a bucket hat hiding his black hair and a mask covering his face, he tucked a hand in his pocket whilst clutching Pluto's leash in the other hand, extending it so the small pup could run off and have some fun before they headed to work.

Despite the Dynamite comeback, George had to prepare for his collab with Lee Hi which had been postponed after his dating scandal. They weren't due to meet up for another two weeks, but he had been advised to work on some ideas.

Today, he planned to spend the day in his studio at the company and since it was his studio and he would be on his own, he decided that Pluto could tag along with him.

"What are you just staring at- oh you're embarrassed, should I turn around why you do your business? We're in the middle of a park but if it helps you feel better," George spoke to his dog with a sigh before turning around.

Pluto tends to get embarrassed if you watch him do his business. He's quite dramatic, quite like his father. After a few seconds, Pluto barked to get George's attention.

"You're a dramatic little shit aren't you?" George muttered to his pup as he pulled out the doggy bags to collect Pluto's business and then threw it away. "Alright, Toto lets go to work."

Happily, the pair set off in the direction of the company and Pluto began to excitedly bark when he saw a certain manager Sejin outside of the building.

"I am not babysitting your dog again, he wouldn't leave me alone," Sejin warned George, who rolled his eyes in response.

"He just likes attention but no, don't worry he's staying with me today."

"Good, well TXT are in their dance studio so please do not bother them, they tend to get distracted when you're in the room and I get in trouble for not keeping you away," Sejin whined.

George winked. "It's not my fault everyone loves me. Maybe you should take some tips on how to be as awesome as me. Have a nice day now." George patted Sejin's cheek before heading into the company.

Making his way towards his studio, George shortened the leash to keep Pluto close to him. He wanted him to freely walk around rather than hold him the entire time, but he also didn't want him to run off and cause a ruckus.

They were about to enter the lift when Pluto began to bark and tried to run off in the other direction. Caught off guard, it was easy for George to be pulled and so, Pluto ended up dragging him.

Finally coming to his senses, George looked ahead to where Pluto wanted to go and spotted Yeonjun. Sighing, he extended Pluto's leash again and chuckled as Yeonjun gasped excitedly.

"Yeonjun meet my son, Pluto."

"I thought i was your son?"

"You are my baby brother," George corrected with a smile just as the rest of the TXT boys ran over after spotting George.

Honestly, he couldn't tell whether they were more excited to see him or Pluto.

"I was told not to bother you so if the staff ask, Yeonjun pestered me until I acknowledged him."

"Got it!" The boys replied all except Yeonjun who looked quite betrayed.

"All it took was a BTS member to get you to betray me like that?"

They all nodded casually earning a smirk from George though the smile turned into a wholesome grin when Taehyun got down on the floor and snuggled his nose against Pluto's face.

Giggling, Taehyun scrunched you his nose when Pluto licked him excitedly. Kai also got down next to him and the pair of Maknae's were thrilled by the attention from George's pup.

"That's the most wholesome thing I've ever seen," George spoke softly.

Pluto sat down obediently in front of Kai and Taehyun, who had now sat up with their legs crossed and we're teaching him how to shake a paw. Pluto was being trained by a professional, so he had the basics down.

"Wait he knows?" Soobin asked in surprise. "Already?"

"He sees a professional trainer, she said he's a quick learner so I suppose if you try and teach him something he'll be able to do it quite quickly."

All five boys lit up and George knew what they were thinking.

The nagging voice of his manager in the back of his head telling him not to distract the boys was pushed out and he found himself sitting in the practice studio watching his dog play with the younger boys fondly.

It was a cute scene as they all got excited everytime Pluto repeated their commands and George couldn't wipe the grin off of his face.

"You look like a parent," a voice spoke from beside him, scaring him out of his skin.

"When did you get here?" George questioned placing a hand on his chest.

"Few minutes ago, was about to go practice but then I heard Pluto's bark," Jimin spoke casually. "They seem to really love him."

George turned his attention back to the excited group of boys, who were surrounding the even more excited dog. As they all cheered, Pluto's tail wagged faster feeling triumphant in making them proud.

"I think adopting that dog was the best thing I've done to be honest," George hummed.

"He sure does love you. You gave him a good home, honestly I didn't know you had it in you but you've taken full responsibility."

George smiled widely. "My Pluto deserves nothing but the best home and I intend to give him that. He's going to live a happy life with me."

He didn't only make that promise to Jimin but also himself. He was going to be the best puppy parent you ever did see.
