"I saw him all over her yesterday and now Matt dies and I see this, somethings not right."

With Zachary's wolf hearing, he could hear all of their little gossips. It took everything in him not to shift and slaughter them all.

Luckily, Y/n doesn't hear the gossip. She was thinking about Matt and everything that has happened, too busy in her own thoughts to care about others.

With the non-stop whispering around them, the beast decided to shut them all up.

He pulled her from behind him to infront of him, and picked her up, carrying her like a toddler.

Instantly, all the talking around them stopped and Y/n came back to her senses, confused on why he is holding her.

"Wh-"

"Shh, if you continue to walk absentmindedly, you'll run into something. Just rest as I bring you to a safe spot"

She nodded and wrapped her arms around his neck, unknowingly shocking all the people around them, no one even making a sound.

The beast was in heaven. Having to hold his mate the whole way to meadow made pleasure run all over his body, just like how when he laid in her bed.

Finally, after about ten minutes, they reached the meadow. He saw how her eyes had some sparkle in them after seeing all the flowers.

He had her sit on the ground, and then sat behind her against the tree, having her lean into him while in between his legs.

Gosh, I really shouldn't be doing this, but for some reason I can't help but lean more into him, like it's some sort of bond. I feel comfortable with him already and I hate to admit it, but I'm already feeling better. I hate that. I shouldn't feel good after the man I've loved for years has just passed away. Who exactly is this man?

"Just relax, don't think about anything and just let the nature consume you."

His arms wrapped around her waist, bringing her closer to him, craving the feeling of her skin on his.

"Why are you doing this?"

The girl asked. She didn't really understand why the man was so set in stone to help her.

"Didn't I say yesterday how I adore you? I could never leave you to suffer. I help you through this, I promise. Now just relax and lay back, I'll take care of you."

After a while of silence, he noticed she had once again, fallen asleep.

The sunset was a beautiful fiery red with a blazing orange setting around it, making the distant trees look black from where they sit.

I wonder if I should wake her? She would adore this sight. Wait, scratch that thought...

He sensed something, an unfriendly presence. One that he has felt many times before.

He heard the footsteps coming closer to him and his mate, making him hold her tighter against him.

"So you finally found a mate, huh. I can tell she's a human. Does she even know what you are? Does she even know how evil and cruel you can be? Does she know that she's in the very arms that has killed over a hundred other humans and werewolves? Huh?"

Gripping her tighter, becoming furious at the man's words. Yet the foolish alpha tried to go deeper. He was trying to infuriate him, trying to make him do something he might regret, hoping the girl would wake and see him in his evil acts.

He wouldn't lie though if he wasn't jealous. He caught sight of the girl a few minutes before and couldn't help but stare at her beauty. He could sense how pure she was and couldn't help but become angry on how such a cruel werewolf got such a pure mate, when all he got was a slut.

"I bet she'll hate you-"

"Leave or I'll fucking kill you right now"

The creature behind him just laughed at those words.

"Oh re-"

"I know for a fucking fact that we've just killed your entire pack, so leave or else you won't be the last adult survivor...

...Ace"

For some odd reason, this would not publish and after a very long time it finally did🙄Wattpad really be testing my nerves. Like you guys could of gotten this so much sooner.
