Silence sits in a broken chair
Legs won't run
They're beyond all repairMy heart beats
But no one will careThis is the quiet room
Tear drops fall
In a silly sieve
Truths hide now
In clothes you don't believeMusic plays
But the keys all work
Food runs away
With a new found
SporkKindness kills
And good men are vile
Empty games
Now are all worthwhileShocking news
Puts us all to sleep
Babies laugh
Old folks weepSomehow I find
What I never lost
And paid so dear
For what had no costI drank my grief
And ate away my pain
I fasted so long I'll never hurt again
