Secretly (poem)

You walk among the crowd
I hear my heart beats so loud
But for now there's nothing i can do
So secretly i'll just gaze at you

Earlier we passed by each other
and once again, our memories i remember
Previously when you were my bestfriend
But then i let our friendship end

Still i hope that one day you'll realize
Then you'll talk to me straight in the eye
I didn't pray for you to fall for me
But to be back the way we used to be

I long to say how much i missed you
I know this is impossible to come true
I just want to hear your words left unsaid
And cite the regrets behind the tears i shed

All you'll ever see are the smiles i fake
All my life i'll regret the chances i didn't take
Though i know there's no hope for us two
Secretly, i'll still choose to love you.
