We Meet Again

Part 17

"Ready na ba kayo?" Sigaw ni mommy mula sa baba ng hagdan.

Naghahanda na kami ngayon, dahil they set a dinner with James family. Simula nung narining nila na official na kami they want to have dinner, kasama ang family ni James.

I look at my mirror and smile slightly. I look elegant with my silver-gray dress. But,I can't deny the fact na kinakabahan ako.

Tho, this is not my first time, pero iba pa din yung kaba. Yung tipong mapapaisip ka na, sana mabait sila, sana magustuhan ka nila and so whatever.

Although I'm also thinking, i shouldn't be worried kase my parents and his parents know each other.

"Tara na." Sigaw ni Josh habang kumakatok ng malakas sa aking pintuan sa kwarto.

Tumayo na ko mula sa pagkakaupo at kinuha ang gamit ko at lumabas na ng pintuan.

My family looks elegantly formal with their attire. Nagmukhang tao si Josh dahil sa damit niya lol.

My dad drive the car habang nasa backseat naman kaming tatlo.

From bud:
       Are you okay?

To bud:
       Yes.

From bud:
      Don't worry, they will like you.

I let out a sigh and smile. I shouldn't be worried. Things will go smoothly.

The guard opens the gate for us at nagpark na si daddy.

"Hello hello!"

Sinalubong kami ni Tita Teresa with warm hugs. She looks way too good sa age niya. Parang hindi siya mommy ni James, parang magkapatid lang.

"Hello Alyssa." She said and hug me.

Habang si James ay winewelcome ang family ko si Tita ay mahigpit na nakayakap sa akin.

"You know what, i've been dying to meet you. Lalo na nung nalaman kong anak ka ni Chris!" She said with excitement.

I giggle, "Hindi nga rin ako makapaniwala na magtatagpo silang dalawa eh." My dad replies.

"Pasok na po tayo." James offer.

Nauna na pumasok sila mom and tita at nahuli kami ni James. He hug me sligthly using his one hand at nilagay sa bewang ko.

"I told you." He said.

I giggle, "Who could resist me?" I tease him.

He stop from walking at iniharap ako sa kanya.

"No one." He said and caress my cheeks.

I felt a sudden heat in my body. My tummy feels like there is a lot of butterflies flying. My heart is beating fast as it feels like it will explode.

I hold his hand on my face and feel the warmth of his touch. I close my eyes to feel it more.

It so warm and soft, that i don't want it to let go.

I open my eyes again at inalis ang pagkakahawak sa kamay niya and so does he.

"Let's go." I said.

He nodded and offers his hands. I delightly accept his hands and we walk towards the door together.

"Ang mga love birds. What took you so long outside, hm?" Tita Teresa ask teasingly.

"Momm" James said.

Naupo na kami sa dining table at nakaprepare na ang mga foods. Parang may fiest dahil sa dami ng nakahanda sa mesa.

"Wala si Vik ano?" My dad ask.
