Annabeth sneaked into the kitchen and moved some of the vegetables aside. She took out a packet for a blueberry flavoured cupcake mix set for 8 people cleverly hidden behind the vegetables. She brought out a bowl, a measuring cup and the other ingredients. Then she set to work.

One hour later, she had spilt half a cup of milk, had baking powder in her hair and a smear of batter on her cheek. She opened the oven and found a single cupcake. She took it out carefully, and it crumbled in her hand. Annabeth was ready to burst into tears. She had planned this perfectly, even badgering Sally and the rest of the seven to come. Now everything would be ruined. Suddenly, there was a knock on the door. Annabeth was surprised. The flight through which the other demigods would come wasn't supposed to land for another two hours. she opened the door and Sally Jackson stood there, holding an exact same packet of cupcake mix that Annabeth bought. Sally smiled upon seeing Annabeth's cake mix smeared condition and asked," May I come in?" Annabeth allowed her inside and they began making the cupcakes together. They started chattering and laughing. Unbeknownst to them, Percy was leaning against the door, watching his two favourite people in the world get along like a house on fire.

Hey! This is my first fanfiction, tell me if you liked it or not and why! Also let me know if there are spelling or grammatical errors I'll edit them. What is up with Wattpad? I've tried to save changes many times but they don't get published? Does anyone else have this problem or is it just me? Do you know how I can fix this?
