The cool and collected stoic teen would never in a million years admit it, but it was getting on his nerves. A lot.

Wait... was someone talking to him..?

Was he talking to someone? Did he start a conversation and forget he was in one?

"...roki..? Todoroki?" When he came to, he was jerked from his zone-out as a hand waved in front of him.

"Hm? Oh, sorry Midoriya. What were you saying?" The young Hero asked, the same monotone nonchalant voice as always; though his expression appeared to be troubled just in the slightest.

Had Midoriya and Todoroki not been so close, no one would have noticed.

"Todoroki, are you okay?" The shorter male replied in question, showing his friend a look of concern.

"What do you mean?"

"I mean, you've been zoning out a lot more than usual.."

"I would be forced to agree with Midoriya on that notion, unfortunately. You do appear to be unfocused - as you have for the past couple of weeks." Iida piped in, moving his hands in his signature sharp, choppy motions.

All the heterochromatic teen could do was hum in response, trying to think of a way to word his frustration.

"Have either of you been in a situation..," he paused, still searching for the right words to explain and help his friends understand. "A situation.. where you've noticed someone you think would be... uhm.., interesting..?" His query sounded uncertain when it left his lips.

"Hmm..," Tenya pondered, "I'm not sure I'm catching on. My apologies, Todoroki."

"I-I think I understand..! What you're trying to say is, you've noticed someone, but you're not sure how to approach them..? Right?" Izuku asked, waiting for Shouto's response of clarification.

"Uh, yeah, actually..." 'How did he pinpoint exactly what I was having trouble spitting out?' The stoic boy thought to himself.

"Well, what is she like?" The broccoli haired teen began, noticing the - slight - immediate shock that adorned his quiet friend's face before he sort of slinked away, shrunk in on himself.

"D-did I say something wrong!? Sorry!" Midoriya blurted, feeling bad for hurting or offending the other in whatever way he did.

"DAMN DEKU! HAVEN'T YOU BEEN PAYING ANY ATTENTION TO YOUR STUPID HALF COLD HOT POCKET FRIEND!?" Todoroki's mismatched eyes widened a bit at the sudden call-out.

Did he understand? Did Bakugou Katsuki of all people, understand what Shouto was going through?

"K-Kacchan! There's no need to be so loud!" "Deku" attempted to argue back.

"HAH!? CAN'T YOU SEE THE BASTARD PLAYS FOR THE OTHER TEAM!?" He shouted again, leaving everyone else with a face of confusion.

"HE SWINGS THE OTHER WAY!?"

Silence.

"OH FOR FUCK'S SAKE, HE'S GAY!" That was it. All eyes landed on him.

It stayed silent for a little while longer before Midoriya spoke up again, stammering.

"O-oh! My- my bad! What's he like?" As the other students of class 1-A went back to their own business, Todoroki took in a breath to explain. A small smile came to his lips when he remembered every detail he caught from the mysterious 1-B student who makes no contact with anyone.

"Well," he began, "he's (shorter/taller) than me. He has (h/s) (h/l) (h/c) hair, these.. (e/c) eyes that were so bright and vivid, it's like you'd get lost in (a forest/the ocean/a pool of honey/a field of insert flowers based on the color- you get it). I could only see his face, but his skin was (s/t). I know it's no one's favorite physical trait, but even the blemishes I caught seemed so..." He trailed off, Ochako turned around, finishing for him.
