When Chris left

Chris' POV
"Did he reply? Like... for real? Please tell me you're not playing with me, if you're lying I'll cry for four days straight" Aris said a bit over excited and another bit anxious.

"Why would I lie about something that big to you? I know I'm cruel but, when have I been cruel to you?"I responded clearly offended by her reaction "yes, Noah just replied to the email, which implies that he's accepted the invitation. And you m'lady, get the honor to read what he wrote, I haven't yet because... well I knew you would be happy to know what the boy of your dreams has to say about being back on the show" I said in a mocking tone and Jude snorted

"Could you two please stop the mocking? PLEASE" she was blushing madly and she tried to covered her face with her hands but the blush was still noticeable.

"Well I'm not the one who felt attacked by the news" I stated in a defensive tone and rolled my eyes

"Guys, relax" Jude intervened "just, let's see that email he sent"

"It's ok, I don't have to read it, Dad" I felt my heart warming every time Aris called me 'dad' "if he replied it's part of your job to read what he said and... well you said I can't get involve with your job this time" she said faking disinterest

"Well... that's trueee. I don't know, I just thought that you might be happy to know that he is going as well and, perhaps, know what he has to say about the new season".

I knew I was wrong for attacking her with the whole Noah topic, but it was justified: ever since she felt in love with Noah her mood changed, her depressive episodes dropped and she started to show more interest in life. It was as if Noah was some sort of 'hero' to her. Not in the obsessed kind of way, but in the sweet one. He was someone she could identify with and definitely the friend she always needed. I knew that, and even though I was reluctant to believe it at the beginning, I later found out that I could do something to get them to know each other. That was until TDRR happened. And well, she seemed happy for him finally getting a girlfriend but it was just as if she had lost someone really important, even though she never got the chance to meet him.

"It's okay Dad... it's just that, you know? This whole thing makes me feel as if I was obsessed with the guy... and it's not like that, I'm just excited because I'll get the chance to be friends with someone... different, in a good way I mean. Different from everyone I've known before... that's all" she stated still blushing with spark in her eyes. The look I've been waiting to see for a long time.

"It's okay if she doesn't want to read it, I do" Jude said pretending to not notice the way she was acting to avoid making her feel uncomfortable "and while we are at it, do you have Gwen's confirmation email?" He said making a puppy face and smiling at me

"You can look for it in the priority section" I told him handing him over my phone

While Jude was searching the emails, Aris finally came by and said "I do want to know what he said" her eyes looking at the floor

"Saw it coming" Jude said handing the phone now to her, looking at me with a 'she's so predictable' look

Aris grabbed the phone, which seemed to have the email prepared for her to read it and after like 40 seconds of staring at it and scrolling the screen over and over she read: "'I'm in.' Well he gotta be more creative than that. What did Gwen say?" She asked Jude with a bit of deception on her voice as if she was expecting more from that email.

"Something about hating a Chris and wanting to win the fortune to donate to foundations and to prepare a legal procedure against Chris for all the trauma he inflicted on everyone. Also, she is excited to meet the new cast. And a dude called Jude or something like that" he said saving the game they were playing before I entered the room
