A/N: Hey there! I have a bit of a statement before we start. While Anti-Hero did win voting wise, @loz_heroacademia made a valid point for the hero side. I quote "bc if you think about it even though the reader has bad parents, they should change that and not have someone else go through any pain that they have gone through" and "the reader should never give up! she should be happy..."

This made me realize I should stick to hero due to how I earlier designed the readers character, sorry to everyone who chose Anti-Hero!

Y/N POV

I closed my eyes and went silent then went over all the pros and cons in my head, then a memory hit me...one I had forgotten, the reason I was training to be a hero in the first place! I needed to get stronger and take down and jail my parents! I told myself that I would be a hero for other like my parents weren't for me! I knew my decision. "I choose to be a hero" I open my eyes back up and see them all looking worried. "What's wrong? Why do you guys look so worried?" Dabi went around the bar and grabbed a box of tissues then wiped the sides of my face. "Huh? What's going on? Is there something on my face?" Dabi gave me a smile "When you opened your eyes you started crying" I was crying? I took my hand and touched my cheek and sure enough, I could feel the tears streaming down the sides of my face. I freaked out and rubbed my eyes and tried to stop crying. "Ah! Sorry! I just had a memory and I guess it brought back some...unpleasant feeling as well..." Toga took a bar stool and sat down next to me and hugged me. "It's okay (Y/N)...We're here for you now! We're all one big family!" As I listened and hugged her back those last words gave me that sense of safety I had with Dabi last night. I smiled and put my face in the crevasse of her neck. I didn't care if they were villains anymore, they were my family now. And I would protect them with my life if it came down to it.

A few hours later Shigaraki had given me some money and told me to go buy my school supplies and whatever I needed for school. I thanked him and walked out of the bar. As I got to the mall I ran into a familiar round faced girl. "Hey! You there with the brown short hair!" She turned around and saw me and ran towards me. "Hey! You're from the entrance exam right? Your quirk is so cool!" I smiled and stuck my hand out to shake hers "My name is (Y/N) (L/N), what's your name?" She shook my hand and returned a smile "I'm Ochaco Uraraka! Your name is so pretty!" I gave a small giggle and looked her in the eyes "So what are you doing at the mall today Uraraka?" She thought for a second and it looked like she had a realization "Oh! I'm here getting supplies for U.A.! I got in!" I gave a bright smile and a thumbs up "Thats great to hear! I hope we have class together then!" She looked excited "You got in too!? Yay! I'm happy for you (L/N)!" We both hugged each other "So (L/N)? Do you wanna get supplies together since we're both here for the same thing?" I gave a thumbs up "Sure! I would love too!"

After an hour and a half had passed we had everything we needed so we went our separate ways. I walked into the door and was immediately tackled by Toga. "Ack! Toga! I just walked in!" We both laid on the floor and laughed. She helped me up and helped me pack my bag for school. After everything was ready she saw the uniform in the bag asked me to try it on. I took the uniform and tried it on, it fit perfectly! Though I didn't like wearing skirts I can admit when I look cute in one. I walked back to toga and she scanned the outfit for a moment then ran out of my room saying she needed to grab something. She ran back in with...Another red tie? "Toga? Why are you giving me another red tie?" I took the tie from her hands and inspected it. It definitely wasn't a U.A. tie but it still didn't answer my question. She looked at me with a smile and answered me "Well I know it's not in the dress code to have an other schools tie but I thought we could tie mine from my uniform around your collar or arm, as a way to think of us while you're in school" I quickly looked back up and her and tears formed at the edges of my eyes. I ran and gave her a hug and stayed there for a minute. At first she was surprised but quickly hugged back. I took the U.A. tie off of my collar and put on Toga's, then she looked at me again. "Lets try it on your arm just to see how it looks" I nodded and put the U.A. tie back on and tied her tie around my wrist. She looked again and spoke "What do you think looks better? U.A. tie or my tie?" I thought for a moment and looked down at the tie around my wrist. A feeling of happiness and safety rushed over me. "I think I like it on my wrist better because I can see it better and it reminds me of when you and Dabi helped bandage my wrists." As I looked back at her I saw some tears streaming down her face and I freaked out "Ah! Toga! Don't cry!" I walked over to her and wiped her tears "I-I'm okay (Y/N) it's tears of happiness not sadness!" She hugged me and we stayed like that for a moment until her heard someone clear their throat. We both look at the door frame and see Dabi standing there. "Are you guys having a moment or..?" I giggled and Toga ran after Dabi. "DABI GET BACK HERE! WE WE'RE HAVING A NICE MOMENT AND YOU RUINED IT!!" I couldn't help but laugh at this. After a minute I go to the main area and see Toga sitting on top of Dabi who is on the floor laughing. I look over at Kurogiri in hopes of answers but he was just as confused as I was. I giggled again and helped both of them up and Shigaraki walked in and called us for dinner.

A few weeks later

It was 6:30 in the morning, I woke up and started getting ready for the day. I put on my uniform then Toga's tie on my wrist. I smiled and walked out to the main area to see Shigaraki, Kurogiri, Dabi, and Toga as if they we're waiting for me. "Hey everyone! Good morning!" I smiled and they gave me smiles back...at least I think Kurogiri did too, it's hard to tell. I walked up to Toga "Hey Toga? Do you think you could do my hair?" She got excited "Yes I can!" I sat down in front of her and she did my hair (A/N: If you have long or medium length hair then Toga put your hair up in buns similar to hers and if you have short hair then she did a french braid) I looked at my styled hair and gave Toga a hug "I love it! Thank you Toga!" She said you're welcome and Kurogiri spoke. "Alright miss (L/N) you should probably head to school now." Right as I was about to head to the door he opened a warp gate in front of me. Dabi handed me a poptart and I said goodbye to them all as I went through the gate. The warp gate put me on a street away from U.A. that was entirely empty at the time. I walked up to the gates of the school and took in a deep breath "I can do this..." I walked into the school and made my way through the halls. I took a schedule out of my backpack to look at what homeroom I had. It read "Class 1-A Hero Course" I put the paper back and went to the classroom. As I walked inside I saw two familiar people, Ochako and the spikey haired blond. A guy with blue hair and glasses was scolding him for something, but I wasn't paying attention. I walked over to Ochako and we had talked until we heard the blond screaming. We turned our attention to the door and saw why he was screaming. It was the green haired boy Ochako saved at the exams, did he know the blond? Ochako and me walked over to him, Ochako talked to him and I stood in front of them in case the blond tried to hurt them. He gave off to much of an anger issues vibe for me to be comfortable with. He walked up to me and looked down a bit. "Oi, move you extra! I need to get to the nerd!" I didn't respond and stood my ground. He looked as if he got more angry then it suddenly turned to confusion. Me being confused also, I turned to see a yellow caterpillar with a face on the ground drinking...apple sauce maybe? He talked for a moment before getting out of the sleeping bag and had told us to put on gym uniforms and meet him on the training grounds. I took a uniform and headed to the girls locker room. I had taken off my shirt and exposed my back full of scars. I'd assume Ochako saw because she freaked out, gaining the rest of the girls attention making the rest of them freak out. "G-Guys?! What's wrong!" I turned around to look at them all and they had a mixture of sadness and worriedness in their eyes. Then Ochako spoke up "(L-L/N)? Why do you have scars covering almost all of your back..?" Oh no...They saw it...I can't even lie about it, I have no excuses ready for this... "I-I..." I looked to the ground and tears flowed down my cheeks, then I saw Toga's tie on my wrist. I held my wrist close to my heart and spoke "I-I don't wanna talk about it...I don't feel comfortable telling you guys...Sorry..." A girl with pink skin and small yellow horns comes up to me and hugs me "It's okay to not want to talk about it! We get it! You just met us so we can understand." I looked at her with my red eyes and hugged her back. After that fiasco the room was silent the rest of the time we all changed...Great I ruined the mood just because I was bad...We all changed and met up outside with the boys. The girls split off to talk to some of the boys as I walked behind the spikey haired blond. We made it to the training ground and we were told we were gonna go a quirk evaluation test. Oh boy this was gonna be fun...
