Chapter 38

Third Person's POV

Today is finally their graduation day. The final day of high school. Monsta X and Oh My Girl are all preparing for their graduation with the gowns and caps on.

"Let's welcome our graduates" the principal announced

"Let's give a round of applause for Section I - A" Mr. Kim says

Everyone clapped in congratulations. He called each student to receive their diplomas and awards.

"Choi Hyojung"

"Look at the woman you've become. I wish you flourish in the future just as you did here" he said as he shook her hand as a goobye

Hyojung hugged him tight taking him aback by her actions but her patted her back to give comfort.

"Thank you for everything you did for us" she says before she went down stage

"Kim Mimi"

"I see this is our last time seeing each other" he says

"I'm glad I'm not seeing you for detention for the last time like I always did" she joked and gave him a tight hug

"I'll miss all the trouble and mischief you cause this school" he said

"I'll miss you too Mr. Kim" she smiled back

"Lee Minhyuk"

"A piece of advice young man before you leave this institution is to take care of the angel you have now and don't make the same mistake twice" he says

"Yes sir" he saluted as he shook the principal's hand

"Lee Wonho"

"You're a fragile young man and I'm sure Yooa will take good care of you same as you will to her" Mr. Kim patted his back

"I will. Thank you for believing that we can still change" Wonho says brightly

"Shin Jine"

"Remember this dear that you are a beautiful and bright young woman. Don't let other people comment on who you should be" he says patting her back

"I will be more confident now thank you for everything, Mr. Kim" she says giving him the brightest smile she could give

"Son Shownu"

"You've been a good source of strength for Ms. Shin. I hope to be at the wedding" he teased the young man in front of him

"Yes, I'll do my best sir" he saluted

"Yoo Yooa"

"I trust you will take good care of Mr. Lee in the future" he say to her

"I will and we have a lot to figure out on our feelings for each other" she says

"I'm glad to hear that" Mr. Kim says hugging her goodbye

"Give a round of applause for Section II - A" Mr. Kim says

"Bae Binnie"

"You're not the shy little Binnie we all thought you were. You've become more confident" he says

"It's all thanks to one person" she says glancing at the person behind her

"He's a keeper" Mr. Kim says

Binnie just chuckled at the thought.

"Chae Hyungwon"

"Congratulations on graduating you helped a lot of people change over the past year" he says

"It's all thanks to a significant someone Mr. Kim" he replies as he glances to the love of his life

"I'm sure she's be glad to hear that" Mr. Kim says

"Choi Arin, our Valedictorian"

"Congratulations dear always remember who you are and what you stand for" Mr. Kim says

"I will, thank you for everything you taught me" she says hugging him goodbye

"Hyun Seunghee"

"Congrats on the successful operation dear. I knew you were strong enough to get through it" he says looking at her

"Thank you Mr. Kim" she says giving him a hug goodbye

"Im Changkyun (IM)"

"Who would believe that you would've become the boyfriend of the smartest student in the class?" he stated

"I studied harder because of her" he joked

"I know now you have to study harder because she's always a step ahead of you" he commented

"I will" he answered

"Kim Jiho"

"Congratulations Mrs. Kim" the principal says

"What's with the Mrs.?" she asked

"Well with how long your relationship with Mr. Kim Doyoung over there I'm already thinking that you're a married couple" he answered

"The wedding bells haven't rang" she joked

"Kim Doyoung"

"Congratulations on graduating can't wait for the wedding" he said

"I will before college" he says his plans

"Lee Jooheon"

"Congratulations on the engagement" he teased him

"Thank you sir" he says

"Yoo Kihyun"

"Last but not the least Yoo Kihyun. You've gone through a lot this year" Mr. Kim says

"I wouldn't have done it without everyone in this room" he says giving Mr. Kim a bro hug in goodbye

Mr. Kim looked at every single one of his students seeing how they've grown, changed and fell in love. He was going to miss it. He wishes he could keep all of them in high school but he knew a bigger chapter awaits, College.

They all knew this wasn't goodbye since they were all going to take up Business in the same college, Seoul National University.

"I can't wait to see what life brings us as we go forward" Arin says while looking at her unnies and oppas

They all throw their caps in the air celebrating their successful year.
