Chapter 21

Hyojung POV

Everyone looked really down today at lunch time. Arin was playing with her food. I.M was absent today I heared he drank last night and got a hangover. Hyungwon was ignoring Binnie now.

It looked like Binnie had something important to say maybe about their performance.

Minhyuk has been talking a lot with me these days. I know he's trying to get close with me again.

Suddenly Seunghee excused herself to the washroom and Arin followed her.
Something's fishy between those two. Kihyun had a worried look in his face but we told him that it was a girl business between those two.

Seunghee POV

I went to the washroom because I felt like puking. I ran fast and made it to the cubicle. I suddenly barfed a lot.

"Unnie are you okay there?" Arin asked

"Yeah unnie's fine" I assured her

"Do you want to go to the hospital and get a check up?" she asked

"No there's no need this is just a little dizziness" I said then we left the washroom

Arin wasn't actually assured and kept on asking me to go to a hospital. I told her to not tell anyone about it especially Kihyun because if he knows he will be willing to cut classes and drive me to the hospital in no time. Arin gave me that worried look at class which made it more obvious.

After the day ended I felt weak again. I heared Arin shouting then everything turned black.

Jiho POV

We saw Seunghee faint in the middle of the halls. Good thing no one saw her. Me the girls and Doyoung carried her to their family hospital without anyone knowing. We waited for a few hours then she finally woke up.

"Ouch my head where am I?" Seunghee asked

"You're at the hospital unnie you were down for 5 hours already. We were starting to get worried that you wouldn't wake up" I explained

"Oh well I'm alright now right?" She asked

"Well not exactly" the doctor suddenly came in

"Visiting time is over girls now go home because I have to talk to Ms. Hyun" she added

We left and said goodbye to unnie and told her to get well soon.

Seunghee POV

"So about your sickness Seunghee you suffer from asthma and you are easily stressed which is bad for your mental health. You feel emotionally tired these days also according to the examinations. You also have very weak lungs so you should keep away from physical activities from now on. We also found a hole in your heart. You have to undergo a 1 month operation by next week or else we'll never be able to close it. The reason for your vomiting is from nausea" the doctor explained

"Take care of yourself from now on Ms. Hyun, You are the heir to your family company. You have to live longer for them. You will be discharged tomorrow morning" then she left

What am I supposed to tell my parents especially Kihyun now? I'm scared.

Kihyun POV

I heared that Seunghee was brought to the hospital yesterday which made me worried. How could she not even text me about going to the hospital. I asked her members where the hospital was and they didn't tell me.

I felt so frustrated at school. She wouldn't reply to my messages too. I went to her house since I heared from Arin she was discharged already.

I knocked on the door and was greeted by her maids. I waited at the living room when I suddenly heared shouting from Seunghee's room.

"Why didn't you go and tell us earlier?" her parents screamed

"Appa I didn't know" Seunghee was crying

"You will get that operation next week whether you like it or not" her dad screamed then left the room

"Now explain to your boyfriend about this" her mom said seeing that I have entered the commotion.

I went to Seunghee and closed the door.

"What was that about?" I asked her calmly

"Promise me you won't get mad" she said hugging me

"Promise" I said

"Kihyun I suffer from heart failure because they found a hole in my heart and I have to get a 1 month operation by next week or else they won't be able to close it" she said sobbing

"Why didn't you tell me earlier?" I asked still being calm but inside I felt useless because that meant she couldn't trust me to tell her sickness and be there for her.

"I was afraid that you were gonna be like everyone mad and make me feel useless. Kihyun I don't want to take the operation" she said

"Shhh I'm not like them and if you take the operation I will always be visiting you at the hospital. I will be there every step of the way for you just like i promised" I said then I hugged her tight and calmed her down.

The next day Oh My Girl and Monsta X now know about Seunghee's sickness and we are trying to spend as much time with her as we can. I want Seunghee to only feel happiness in this 1 week before her operation.
