Auntie... Erza...

Natsu's POV

I was awake most of the night, just staring at the wall as I held Lucy close to me. I noticed the sun started to rise and grew curious because the kids hadn't made any noises yet. I slowly let Lucy go and crept over to their room. I slowly opened the door to see Nashi and Luke cuddled up together in the crib. Both were snoring quietly and were both drooling. I chuckled to myself and brushed some of Nashi's hair away from her face. Luke's face looked all scrunched up like he was having a bad dream. I sat down and put my back against the wooden beams of the crib. I closed my eyes then felt a small hand reaching out of the crib. Luke's hand had fallen in between the cracks, I reached for it, holding it gently. I closed my eyes again and let the sun hit my face.

After a couple of minutes, I heard Lucy's footsteps slowly creep up to the doorway I'd left cracked. She sat down to me and laid her head on my shoulder. She grabbed my free hand and rubbed it gently, "I love you so so much." She spoke softly, but it was the most angelic sound in the world. All this toughness I'd been holding in for a little over a year had crumbled away. I let out a frustrated breath, letting my tears fall. Lucy kissed my cheek and combed her fingers through my hair with her free hand. I tightened my grip onto her. My bangs moved in front of my face and covered my eyes, Lucy continued calming me down.

Nashi started to stir and Luke was yawning as he stretches tiny little body. Before Lucy sprung into action she used her hand to turn my head towards her. She wiped my tears away and put her forehead to mine and smiled, "No one can love you more than I do." She kissed my nose that same way I did last night. I smiled and lightly touched her arm as she stood up and picked up Luke. I stood up and grabbed Nashi by her feet and blew kisses into her belly, making her giggle like no tomorrow. Then I slung her on my back and she moved so she sitting on my shoulders. I made dragon noises and ran out of the room with Nashi laughing and gripping my hair. I heard Lucy sigh, "What a daddy's girl..." I smiled to myself and made it to the kitchen where Erza and Gray were hanging out as they lived here. Lucy walked up behind me with a cranky Luke blabbering away while chewing at her hair. We both stared at the invading duo for a moment and then Lucy questioned a little too calmly,

"What are you guys doing?" Probably because we were dealing with Erza.

"Oi! We thought it'd be just like the old times!" Old times...

"Yes, we did. Also, Lucy, may Jellal and I look after the twins on the train ride to the training ground?" Erza asked before putting a fork with strawberry cheesecake on it in her mouth.

"Sure. Just don't give either of them any weapons and- I'll tell you the rules later." I guess she noticed I hadn't said anything.

"Oi! Flame brain! You gonna stand there all day and pout like a baby!" Gray yelled, Nashi didn't like it. She let go of my hair and covered ears and cried a little. Gray looked surprised until Lucy told me to switch with her. I took Luke from her arms while she slide Nashi off my shoulders. Nashi gripped onto her shirt and wiped her tears,

"Nashi doesn't like loud noises." Lucy explained.

"Then what do you do if she does something bad?" Erza questioned, still eating cake.

"We don't yell because she doesn't know any better, same goes for Luke... Natsu." I snapped back from my trance to see Luke chewing on my hair. I smiled sincerely and slowly pulled my hair out of his mouth and tapped his nose which made him giggle. I saw Erza smile sadly at me. Lucy clapped her hands together and Nashi followed with a big smile on her face,

"I'll get the kids' things and then we'll head to the guildhall!"

"I'll get it, you just take the kids." I said plainly. I saw worry wash over Lucy's as I handed her Luke and walked off.
