Chapter 2 - Another Girlfriend For Lewis

Lewis's POV

"uh are you sure can't we work this out?" I asked

"no Lewis I already rented an apartment for myself and while you went out early this morning that was the perfect time for me to pack I'm sorry Lewis but I don't want to keep arguing with you it's just pointless really" she said and walked into the bedroom and came back out with her stuff and walked out "I'll see you tomorrow" she said and walked out

"for fucks sake why now" I mumbled to myself and just buried my head in my hands and tried to fight back tears I've been with her for so long and our stupid fights drove us apart what is wrong with me" I said to myself I tried to hold back the tears but I just couldn't I quickly grabbed my keys and phone and ran out I locked the door behind me and knocked on Lynelle's door cause Duncan's too far away and for God's sakes Simon has two cats

"hold on" I heard her say and I just knocked again but a lot harder and quicker I heard quick footsteps run towards the door and she opened the door and I just walked past her and sat down on the couch she closed the door and sat down next to me

"Lewis what happened?" she asked I just stayed quiet if I talked now it would just come out as a big sob "Lewis seriously I hate it when people are like this" she said

"she left me, ok" I said, my voice, I sonded like a wreck and she just hugged me

"I'm sorry to hear that" she said and we heard the door open

"Lewis? what happened?" Duncan asked

"where's the bathroom?" I asked

"just over there" she said pointing to a door I stood up and went in

Duncan's POV

"what happened?" I asked while sitting down next to her I haven't seen him like this before it must be pretty bad from what I know he's not a sensitive guy if something bad happens he'll just probably throw a rant or punch something

"Hannah broke up with him" she said softly

"wait what" I said I can't believe that I wonder what happened right now it's not the time to talk about it and he walked back out and sat down in between us still silent

"Lewis you alright now?" Lynelle asked

"in appearance barely" he mumbled

"well are you coming around to the office tomorrow? cause I can call Mark and tell him from what I know Simon's not coming again" I said

"I'll think about it" he said

"yeah he's not coming tomorrow" Lynelle said

"I'll call him and tell him that you're not coming tomorrow" I said and stood up and walked out and strangely bumped into Hannah

"is Lewis inside the flat?" she asked

"he's at Lynelle's right now" I said she just nodded and continued and I walked back down to my flat

Lewis's POV

I was just sitting down I got myself a day off which probably wasn't even needed I can handle it, I've been through break ups before it's fine just need something to distract me and I just looked over to Lynelle

"do you want anything? you haven't eaten anything in the office from my knowledge" she said

"no I'm fine" I said

"are you sure?" she asked

"yeah I'm fine" I said

"Lewis I've been through this before, I know how it feels like to have the person you loved for a long time just leave you but it's either that you let her go or continue to be like this" she said and I just turned back to the other wall
