Do you ever had an opportunity to attend an Indian function but you had no clothes to wear? Or do ever just wish to try Indian clothes? Let's try to recreate something without you having to spend so many bucks on. (Works for other South-Asian countries as well like Pakistan, Sri Lanka etc)
Let's suppose this is a wedding:
Find yourself a long skirt, if it has a tinge of Indian in it then it's great. But if you don't find that, any floral print or block colour does the job equally well!
Second step, you can either pair it with a crop top preferably shimmery sequined gold/silver or any other color that matches your skirt. Or you can pair it with a simple white shirt. (Again, any other color, if it goes well with your skirt).
Pair it up with some large golden earrings and a necklace.
And voila! You are good to go. Do your makeup and you are ready to rock the function!
P.S. I am not sharing a total full blown traditional look because it requires the stuff that isn't available everywhere. But, If you would like to know about them, comment and tell me. I would be happy to share!
