As simple as it sounds, this hairstyle is simple, easy and effortless. Simply section off your hair on both sides from around your ears and pull it into a pony tail. Secure with a hair tie or bobby pin (whatever you have) and voila!

Of course there are ways that you can change this hairstyle up, you can plait the hair, add a ribbon or scrunchie or pull the hair through itself. If you have a little bit of extra time, go for it! I'm just providing the basics so that you can expand and create new hairstyles that you like!

We cannot have an easy hairstyle chapter without including the infamous ponytail! This is probably the most common way for someone to wear their hair. And its super simple! For a low ponytail, just brush all of your hair into a bunch at the nape of your neck (or slightly higher if you feel like it) and secure it with a hair tie or scrunchie.

A high ponytail takes a little bit more time to achieve, but it looks better on some people. The way I do my ponytails is I flip my head over so that I am looking at my legs (while standing up). I gather all of my hair into a bunch on the top of my head and brush the back down so that it is neat. I flip back up and brush the sides and front up before securing with a hair tie.

These two styles are some of my favourites ever! One is a bit dressier while the other is good for when you go to bed, are lounging around or you're working out!

For style one, tie your hair into a high ponytail. Then, gather the hair (while it's tied up) and twist it together before wrapping it around the base of the ponytail. Secure with a hair tie before tugging at it to reach your desired look!

For style two, pull your hair into a high ponytail but don't tie it. Wrap your hair tie around your hair three times, not pulling all of it through on the final time. You should have a loop. Pull that loop to make it floppy and bigger. Again, tug on the loop until you reach your desired look!

This is something that I found on Pinterest while looking for a hairstyle to wear to a wedding I have in late February. It's super simple and looks really fancy while also being really easy! Create a ponytail in the rough center of your head. Twist the hair around the base of the pony tail and secure it to create a bun (don't worry if it doesn't look perfect, it will be covered up). Pull the bun to create a gap of hair between the head and the bun. Tuck the bun into that gap. No need to secure, but you can use a bit of hairspray if you want to!
