1) Balance it Out

The best way to wear bold colours without being too extra is to balance it out with neutrals. Whites, greys, and beige work so well with bold colours, and once you know how to wear your bright colours with neutral ones, you don't need to worry about going overboard.

Denim works weel with bright colours, too. The material helps offset the colour and make the looking more appealing.

3) Use Black To Provide Relief

If you ever feel that your chosen colour is a bit too overwhelming, then a go to is black. Black goes with pretty much everything, and that's why it is a favourite for many. When working with bold colours, use a black jacket or scarf to tone it down a bit.

4) Use the Colour Wheel for Guidance

Use colours and shades from the colour wheel to help you out! You can try different patterns. For example, if you have a pink pair of pants, then a maroon top would be the perfect match for it.

A great way to wearing bold colours is to limit to one bold item. Let the bright colour pop and be the focus of your outfit. It wouldn't be overwhelming that way, too.

6) Take Baby Steps

Venture into the world of colour by trying things out. It's better to probably start out with small experiments, seeing what you like and what you don't, instead of plunging into a randomly bold outfit and then feeling uncomfortable for the whole day. From shoes to jewellery to bags, you can try out bold coloured accessories and see how good you look in what you like.
