Everyone only stared, eyes wide at the sudden confession from Maki. No one was really surprised, her feelings were too obvious ever since she became Kaito's friend.

Maki stared, waiting, wanting to believe that everything that she heard and saw weren't true.. even if it means confessing in front of everyone.. At least, if it was true and the person Kaito was doing that with, will know that Kaito was hers.

"W-What..?"

"Do I need to repeat it? I'm in love with you. This isn't a joke. I do.. ever since you reached out to me. Always.." She confessed, face red. Everyone, including Maki, waited for the frozen Kaito's answer.

"Harumaki.. Thank you.." he said, rubbing the back of his head nervously.

Behind them, a smirk formed in Kokichi's lips.

Kokichi quietly snorted and almost laughed at Kaito's response.

Kaito bowed slightly, he never knew that Maki had feelings for him.

"T-that's not true.. You.. You were always smiling at me.. M-Making me happy.. I.." Maki's eyes teared up.

"Who was it!?" She suddenly shouted.

"Huh?" Kaito asked confusedly.

"I saw you.. You were.. fucking someone's brains out.. A-A guy at that! You were always denying Ouma and Saihara when theu were together! When Shirogane and Iruma got together! Then.. Then! Why the hell were you fucking a guy yesterday!?" She asked. Kaito's eyes widened, he didn't know how Maki knew and at the same time, he was scared, annoyed that Maki was saying all this things in front of the whole class, he also noticed how Shuichi flinched and how Kokichi only stared blankly at him, as if he's waiting.

"Well??" She asked again, glaring at Kaito as she did so but Kaito still didn't answer, triggering her even more.

"Answer me, who the hell were you--"

Kaito snapped.

"What about you!? Why the hell were you always in denial of everything!? I thought you were supporting me, I trusted you when I thought I could get a girlfriend but what? Why the hell did that girl suddenly rejected me!? Was that your doing??" He shouted, surprising and shutting Maki up.

"And what now!? You're watching who I fuck and what I do!? That's disgusting! You're fucking creepy!" He shouted, unaware of how much pain his words carried. He calmed down and looked back at Maki to see her crying even more. Maki turned and run away. Everyone's eyes followed her as she disappeared from the door.

"Harumaki!" Kaito called, about to run after her but Kokichi stood up and grabbed his arm. Kaito turned to look at the serious expression Kokichi had..

"Don't hurt and give her any false hope more than this, Momota-chan." He said in a serious tone. Shuichi who saw and heard it flinched slightly, feeling a little jealous while Kaito only glared.

"I'm not-" Kaito didn't get any chance to explain when the door revealed their teacher.

He sighed before pulling his arm away from Kokichi and walking back to his seat..

Kokichi stared at the devastated Kaito then at Shuichi who sat in his seat, still staring at him, before flinching and looking away. Kokichi only looked in front where their teacher stood, a smirk forming in his lips.

He sat back down beside Miu, humming lowly yet happily as he did so..

Miu saw it all.
