You've finally drowned in my ocean of emotions
After a year of swinging on and on
How was the sailing? Did you find any storm?
I bet you did, because my heart is now cold
And how many love songs and poems
I wrote for you
Those were my master pieces
Now you're a sad memory
Now I'm 40% of water after you broke my heart
A heartbreak is the best moment of inspiration, they say
So this is it, this one's for you
You were my best source of inspiration
Thank you for that
Now you're just a blue memory
In the deepest corner of my mind
You gave a year of flowers,
But now they're all dead
Just like our love, that
Wouldn't leave my head
What a waste of time you've been
Wasted half of my pages on you
Wasted all of my tears, all of my dreams on you
Teared apart every other opportunity
Convinced of a love story that couldn't be true
And all those poems and songs I wrote for you
I ain't throwing them away
Because they're the only valuable memories
From you left
I wish you good luck,
Wherever you are
I just hope I left
A trace in that heart
