In the morning, I went to the roof and was making a TikTok when Tayler walked in with Sway. Quinton came over and hugged me around the waist so I couldn't dance. I stopped trying and kissed his cheek. I posted it and he followed me around.

"What are you doing?" I asked.

"Following you. Why?" He asked like it was normal.

"Um... Why are you following me, Quin?"

"No reason. Do you have something to hide?"

"Do you think I'm hiding something?"

"No."

"No." I smiled and went to the kitchen. I let out a scream just as a paintball was shot and hit the wall, two inches from my face. "Patrick!" I yelled.

"That was Calvin," he said.

"That was me," Calvin smiled and waved. I rolled my eyes and Quinton followed me to the game room.

"Do you wanna come over to Sway?" He asked.

"Sure," I smiled and he pushed me against the wall, kissing me. "Do we get to cuddle?" I pouted.

"Mh-Hm. You're adorable," he smiled and lifted me onto his side.

"And we should go out to dinner."

"A date?"

"Yeah."

"Are you asking me or am I asking you?" Quinton whispered and I stared climbing him.

"Ask me. Ask me. Ask me," I bit my lip.

"Fine. Do you wanna go on a date with me tonight, Ave?"

"Yeah!"

He drove my car and we went to some super expensive rich place. I was really excited and Quinton was just amused by me. He sat across from me at a booth and I smiled.

"We should do this more often," he said.

"Do what?" I asked.

"Go on dates. It's time for just us. You live with people and I live with people, so we don't get time to be together alone." I nodded and he leaned over and kissed me. "You and I should go out to an outdoor movie night."

"Outdoor? I don't do well with outdoors and night time together."

"I'll be with you. Here, tell me something about yourself that you've never told me."

"Are we sharing our darkest secrets now?" I laughed.

"No, no. But we can," Quinton said with a smile.

"Okay... my deepest darkest secret is that... Avery isn't my name."

"What? What's your name?"

"So Griffin's mom basically gave me the name Maybeline. Like the makeup.  But my grandma called me Avery since she didn't like the name."

"I like Maybeline too. It's nice."

"It's okay, I guess." We ate and got in the car. He started driving me to the Hype House and changed his mind, taking me to Sway instead. He handed me a large goodie and pushed me into the bathroom to change. I did and he pulled me to lie down with him.

"Do you expect more from me?" He whispered.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"Like, relationship wise. Do you think we should move to the next level?" Quinton asked me.

"Quin... I don't expect anything. When you're ready, you're ready. We're just 16 and that's really young. Even if we started talking about forever, we're too young for that." He nodded and caressed my thigh. He kissed me and smiled.

"You're amazing, Maybeline," he said and I gave him a look.

"You just ruined the moment." I turned onto my other side and he snickered. He threw his arm over me and I felt warm almost instantly. He played with my hair and kissed my neck. He tickled my side and I giggled.

In the morning, the Sway boys and I went to the Hype House and everyone was on the roof. Quinton was hanging out in the corner with Griffin and Bryce while I was sitting on a couch with Chase. Everyone was quiet and Quinton snickered.

"Maybeline is cute," he said and everyone looked between us.

"Shut up," I told him.

"Who's Maybeline?" They all asked.

"No one."

"She's very much someone," Quinton laughed but stopped. Everyone went back to doing their own thing and muttering. Quin came over and sat next to me. I went live and he lied down with his head on my lap. I played with his hair and the live thought it was really cute. "Are we dating? Guys... Yes, we are," Quinton said.

"Wait. You never told me a secret," I said. "Yesterday, Quin took me out on a date night and made me tell him a dark secret. But he never told me his." Everyone started commenting that he should tell everyone a secret.

"No!" Quinton said.

"Yes! Tell everyone a secret, Quinton," I smiled. "Make it a good secret."

"No. I'll tell you later. I'm not telling thousands of people too." I smiled and he kissed me. I ended after a while and we went down to the kitchen. Quinton wrapped his arms around my waist and hugged me tightly. He kissed my cheek and rocked up side to side.

"Can we have, like, a sleep over? I can do your nails and we can wear face masks."

"I'm not painting my nails, May- Avery."

"Quin... I'll let you call me May only if you tell me your darkest secret and have a sleep over with me."

"Okay... Fine. My secret... okay. When I was little, I found my friend's mom's dildo and asked if I could keep it since I liked lollipops."

"That is so horrible. I'm so sorry for even asking." He laughed and turned me around. Quinton kissed me and pushed me against the wall, hands traveling to my waist. Mine went to his shoulder and jaw. He pulled away for a second and kissed down my jaw, then neck, then shoulder. He blew on a spot on my neck and kissed it, lightly sucking on the skin. I closed my eyes and opened them when he pulled away. I planted a soft kiss under his ear and he liked it. He met my lips again and didn't let go for what felt like forever.
