An unexpected night

Jack got to the hotel and after eating from a nearby restaurant him and Nate went to there hotel rooms. Jack walked into his hotel room. He closed the door behind him and sighed. He took off his boots and got his normal clothing. He took off his uniform and got in the shower. He scrubbed himself clean and washed himself off. When he was done he got out and dried himself with a towel. When he was done drying himself he put on a black shirt and pajama pants. As he got out of the washroom he heard a knock at the door. He walked over to the door and opened it. When he opened it he instantly felt shock but also a bit of happiness.

Blue: hi Jack!

Jack: Blue! W-what are y-you doing h-h-here?! H-how did you get out?!

Blue: it was kinda easy

Jack: why are you here?!

Blue: I wanted to see you, mind if I come in?

Jack: s-sure

Blue walked in and Jack closed the door behind her. She walked over to the couch which was facing a tv and sat down. Jack then sat down in a chair that was across from couch.

Jack: so why did you want to see me?

Blue: about today I-

Jack: don't apologize, all those guards see you as just a monster, they don't know a single thing about you

Blue: oh um..... ok

Jack: Owen should really teach those guards to see you guys as more than just targets

Blue: yeah I know, they all were actually making jokes about you, the good news is Dad actually told them all to not treat you poorly after what happened, I think he likes you

Jack: oh well at least there's some good news

Then out of no where Blue began to sniff the air.

Jack: what is it?

Blue then got off the couch and got closer to Jack.

Jack: what are you doing?

Blue then began to sniff Jack's neck and chest. She then looked up at Jack.

Blue: you smell good

Jack began to blush because her face was one inch away from his. Blue looked totally unfazed however.

Blue: something wrong?

Jack: um n-nothing

Blue then smiled cheerfully.

Blue: ok

She then looked over to the balcony and walked to it. Jack decided to go to the balcony as well. When he got there he saw Blue looking at the park with the light from all the buildings giving the place a magical glow.

Blue: isn't it beautiful?

Jack: it certainly is

Jack then stood next to Blue and put his hands on the railing.

Blue: hmm I wonder how my sisters are doing right now, how's your bond with you brother?

Jack: hm?

Blue: you know a bond, like the bond a family have together

Jack: oh, yeah I would say it's pretty strong, whenever he has problems like social issues or insecurities I give him words of encouragement, how about the bond between your sisters?

Blue: since I'm the beta in the squad whenever Owen isn't around I'm in charge and trying to keep my sisters from tearing the place up, can be interesting and funny sometimes, do you have any other siblings?

Jack: no it's just me and my brother.... so what's life like in the paddock? Well when I'm not around

Blue: usually boring, we just sit around and watch the humans look at us with fear or an expression that says they can't wait to shoot us if anything goes wrong, the only good things are when we're let out, Dad is around or your around, and we'll Echo is kinda happy when Nate is around, to be honest I think she likes him.

Jack: sorry to hear that, it must be horrible, especially the fact that you had no say in it, after all, you were born into it without a choice

Blue: thanks, so what's your life like?

Jack: my life besides being a raptor trainer is... I'm not to sure... I would say normal at most but I'm not complaining although when I go back to the mainland in one or two months I guess my life will be a little more fun when I get to see my friends again, of course it's still fun here because I get to talk with you

Blue: you'll be leaving?

Jack realized by the look on her face that Blue was saddened by what she heard.

Jack: oh! well I'll come back, I'll only be gone for holidays

Blue seemed a little less sad by this but still a little sad so Jack gave a reassuring smile which seemed to cheer her up.

Blue: hey Jack

Jack: yes

Blue: do you have a special someone you know what you humans call a girlfriend?

Jack: um no... no I don't have one, most girls say I'm way too shy when it comes to flirting

Blue: what's flirting?

Jack: it's when someone says something romantic about someone in a playful way

Blue: oh ok.... I'm surprised that the females don't like you, you seem pretty attractive for a human

Jack then lightly blushed at what he heard.

Jack: and your pretty... for a human-raptor hybrid

Blue: *giggle* thanks Jack.... well I should be heading back now before the guards notice

Before she left she kissed Jack on the cheek which surprised him and made him blush. Blue giggled as she left the room. A few seconds after the surprise settled he put his hand on his cheek and smiled.
