•Part 2•

Ever since the accident, Liam and I had texted everyday. In school every girl fancied him, there was no way you wouldn't, but I doubt any of those girls knew what he was really like, I was one of those girls until the accident.

I now knew that Liam was caring, funny, sweet, cute, and so kindhearted. And there was no doubt that I had feelings for him. But that was pointless, because even if we talked everyday, there was no way he'd ever like me. And this was no pity party, I was just stating the facts.

One thing led to another though, and a few weeks after the accident, once I had gotten my leg cast off, Liam had invited me out. We set a date which was today and frankly, my heart was pumping. I was scared. I didn't know how it was going to go, and I was one to over think everything.

As I walked downstairs to wait for Liam, my mum sighed. "Sweetheart, you're going on a date with the high school hottie, do you really want to be dressed like that?"

I looked down at my clothes. I wasn't one to care much about my appearance. Obviously, being a girl, I loved looking nice and all, but I didn't see the point of caking your face in make up every morning, and doing your hair. I was more of the kind of girl who chose a lie in over standing infront of the mirror for an hour choosing between a light blue dress and a slightly darker blue dress, like my mother.

And so, today I went for a casual bluey/grey cropped hoodie and a pair of black high waisted stretchy shorts with a pair of pastel blue and purple ombre Vans. My hair was in a messy bun and the only makeup I had on was mascara. I mean, it wasn't like I was going on a date.

"Mum its not a date." I rolled my eyes.

"Oh really?" My mum obviously didn't believe me. I think she wished too much for it to be a date.

"Yes mum." I nodded. "We're friends...of some sorts." I said unsurely. To be honest I had no idea what Liam and I were.

"That's sad honey." My mum pouted.

"Look mum just because you married the high school hottie, doesn't mean I have to." Thats right, my dad was the equivalent of Liam back in the day. The only difference was that my mum was the Queen Bee, and I was far from it.

My mum rolled her eyes. "Oh sweetheart, don't get mad. You know I want the best for you." She smiled, rubbing my arms.

"I know mum." I smiled back giving her a hug which was thankfully interrupted by the door bell. I couldn't have walked any faster to the door.

As I opened it, I was greeted by a grinning Liam who was dressed in a simple v-neck grey t-shirt and black skinny jeans with his hair being its usual perfect mess. "Good morning princess." He smirked. That smirk was something else. It was the thing that made you forget that anyone else existed. It drew any girl in. And I was one of the victims.

"Morning." I smiled back.

"Are you ready to go?" He asked.
I nodded. "Let me just grab my bag." I sped into the kitchen, grabbed my bag and with a quick kiss on the cheek for my mum, I was gone.

The drive wasn't long. After about fifteen minutes we ended up at the beach.

"Come on, I wanted to show you a place." He smiled, taking my hand and pulling me down the beach. We then climbed up a steep sandy hill where we were met by a wierdly shaped tall tree who's branches height was just perfect to shade you from the sun while you're sitting under it.

"Look at the view." He said.

I did as I was told. "Oh my," I breathed. "Its beautiful." This place was a perfect view point. It was high enough to see out into the sea and see the rest of the beach.
