"We're almost done!"
Napahinto ako when Carla said something. She sound so excited upon seeing those hanging bridges. Sabi kasi sa amin kanina when we see hanging bridges that's the sign na malapit na namin matapos ang descent ng trek namin.
"Gutom na ako. Gusto ko na kumain." Henz said.
"Let's go guys. One last push!"
Our tour guide motivated us to continue our hike. Napatingin ako kay Carla and she gave me a genuine smile. After what happened earlier medyo nailang na ako ng konti at nahihiya pero hindi ko lang pinakita. Kapag naaalala ko ulit, parang may ano sa akin na hindi ko maintindihan.
Everyone's so energetic and they even took some photos and videos for the last time. I managed to smile and waved my hand just for the sake of fun. Nakalimutan ko na masaya pala ang ganitong experience. No doubt I liked it before.
Finally, after how many hours of exhausting yet fun hiking we were finished already. Everyone's talking about their experience on climbing Mt. Ulap and it was pretty obvious that they loved this activity.
"Here." I said while giving a bottled water to Carla. She smiled and thanked me for what I did.
"So, what's the plan now? Should we go somewhere and grab lunch?" Sam asked everyone since we are done and we don't have any plans for the rest of the day.
After debating on what should we do next, we agreed on going home first para makapag freshen up ang lahat before meeting up again to have our lunch. Isa-isa kaming hinatid sa place namin nung van na aming nirentahan and the moment I arrived, naligo kaagad ako kasi pakiramdam ko ang lagkit at ang dumi ko na kasi galing kami sa hike.
I decided to wear a black shirt with some designer brand written in front partnered with some jeans. After which I decided to go out of the building and head to UPTC since doon nila gusto kumain. Ewan ko ba bakit gustong gusto nila Sam na doon gumala. Siguro kasi hindi ganoon ka crowded and the ambiance is quiet and chill.
While I'm driving, hindi ko tuloy maiwasang isipin ulit si Carla. Ever since nagkita kami ulit, there are times in which bigla bigla ko nalang siyang naiisip or naaalala. I know if I'll tell this to my friends they'll tease me to death. Kaya minsan din hindi ako masyadong nagkukwento sa kanila kasi tukso at asar lang makukuha ko. Pero kahit na nakakainis sila minsan, I'm thankful that they are the most genuine set of friends I have.
Hindi nagtagal ay nakarating na ako sa UPTC. I parked my car and went out already para makapunta na dun sa gusto nilang kainan. They decided to have buffet for lunch kasi raw we all deserved good food after what we did earlier. And I guess masyadong mabilis talaga ang mga kaibigan ko since nakapag-pareserve kaagad sila dun sa restaurant na gusto nila para makaiwas kami sa pila.
The waitress outside accompanied me to our seat. Sinundan ko lang siya until I heard their loud voices and laughs. No doubt we are almost complete at parang pakiramdam ko ay ako na naman ang hinihintay nila.
"Finally! The boss." Henz immediately exclaimed when he saw me which made everyone look towards my direction.
I scanned the chairs to find where should I seat pero mukhang pinagtitripan ulit ako ng mga kaibigan ko kaya I ended seating next to Carla. My friends giggled after I sat beside her kaya naman agad ko silang tinaasan ng kilay. Hindi ko na alam ilang beses kong nasabi 'to pero minsan talaga ang sarap nilang idisown.
I can clearly smell Carla's perfume and it made me feel uncomfortable for some reasons. Masyadong mabango na pakiramdam ko kapag hindi ko ibabaling sa iba ang atensyon ko ay magmumukha akong weird kasi ang tahimik ko.
