okay so this chapter is dedicated to the absolute bullshittery that is the appropriation and misuse of aave, what some fucking dumb ass white tiktokers claim to be 'internet culture' and 'stan twitter language' like tf??? it wasn't internet culture when people's grandmas were callin them chile in 1992??? was microsoft even a thing then???
so i'm noticing that a lot of kpop stans on twitter have decided to adopt their own version of aave - in which they use aave terms but are unaware of the context and meaning, thus applying it wrong. don't worry, us black people don't get particularly offended as much as we find it absolutely hilarious.
to begin: i'm not here to try and educate people on the meanings of aave words because it is not my place to and nor is it your place to use aave as a way to look edgy. anyways, if ur curious enough be my guest and google the terms instead of using them blindly.
