ok so we all know korea is a very look-orientated country (they take the features of people v seriously and many people do plastic surgery to make themselves fit more into the perfect society). this includes having large, round eyes, 'ski jump' nose - meaning it has a straight nose bridge and isnt big, not to big or small lips and ofc being skinny to the point that ur organs are freaking constricted.
idols have to conform to these perfect and usually unattainable features unless they do plastic surgery, botox, fillers or carboxy shots (makes ur limbs leaner). which is v v v common nd ur faves have probably done plastic surgery lmao. even natural queen seulgi has gotten touch ups (altho she still slays).
bUt fat shaming is a realllll bad problem. if an idol is sLIGHTLY above the perfect weight, which is like under 50kg and totally unhealthy for grown ass women, they get bashed by k-netz and even i-netz these days smh. 50kg is healthy for like 15 year olds and totally not for 20+ year olds.
for example, i'm gonna speak about 2 female idols. wendy and kyla. wendy son (also queen of facial expressions) from rv and kyla from pristin.
