Here's to the tired ones,
the kind,
the loving,
the calm,
the bright people in a dark room ...
The ones who want things differently-
they're not fond of cruelty ...
You can step on them,
or be by their side,
ridicule or value them,
but the only thing you can't do
is ignore them
because they change things ...
They push compassion to another level,
and while some may see them
as the vulnerable ones,
we see light,
because the ones who are tired enough of this cruel world
and still choose to be kindhearted;
those are the ones who will change the world,
not through wars and destruction,
but with smiles and love.
