Me, you, and some strawberries
We can make some hot tea,
And get fuzzy blankets
As the weather makes me freeze
And you offer me your jacket
We admire the rain
And smell all the flowers
Maybe share a few secrets
Our smiles growing wider
Maybe light up the chimney
As you talk to me about
That book you love so much
And choose to read it to me out loud.
Then I smile and sigh
As I think about how
A girl with such big dreams like me,
Would love something so simple
like that.
