I know living in this world is hard.
But you know it better than anyone
I hope you are finally able to sleep tonight,
having all your nightmares slip by
one by one.

I wish I was there with you,
so I could light a candle
and read to you
about all the fairytales that live in youth
whose stories we both wish could happen to us too.

I wanted to remind you that you are not alone,
even if sometimes I accidentally take too much time
to respond
but I need the world to think about the fact
that every single one of us
has our own problems to cry ourselves to sleep every night.

We also have dreams
we are too scared to talk about
and that's why everything gets stuck inside us
in the strange world of being criticized.

So what I really wanted to say
with this poem I wrote during class today
is that you are nobody to judge others
even if you believe you are on top of everyone else

because all the words that come out of your mouth,
is indeed what you hold deep inside,
so the next time you try to hurt someone's life,

think about how empty your poor heart must feel like.
