I'm Not the Only One... Part 65

The song brought Morgan to the verge of tears and Roc was about to replay the track but Morgan's sniffing signal that she was in the room. 

Roc: Oh hey baby,how long have you been in here? Why are you crying? What's wrong? 

Roc came rushing over to her side to wipe away her tears. 

Morgan: I'm fine, haha. It's just your song just really surprised me. 

Roc: Well, I was actually gonna surprise you with it later, but now is good too. Since you're here, I guess we can talk now. 

Roc took a deep breathe before beginning. 

Roc: Morgan, I love you. I love you more than you'll ever be able to understand. I never meant to hurt you. I just got wrapped up in the moment because I assumed that you liked Trevor more than me. So I acted stupidly and I hurt one of the most important people in my life. I can't picture myself with anyone else but you. It should've been you , instead of her, and I know that it's going to be hard to trust me from now on, but I need you. I need to be with you, as your boyfriend, lover and soul mate. Please baby. 

Morgan couldn't say anything because she was too busy crying to get words out. As soon as she began to speak, Prodigy came rushing into the studio with his phone in his hand. 

Prodigy: Roc, have you checked your IG lately????

Roc: I'm kinda in the middle of something right now Prod 

Prod: I know and I'm sorry, but this is important 

Roc pulls out his phone and checks his IG and looks at hi comments and his tagged photos to see that some girl has commented and tagged him in a collage of photos of him and her, some photos of her with a baby bump and a photo of a her and a baby. Roc immediately shoots up and goes into the hall to make a phone call

Morgan wipes her eyes and tries to force out words to talk.

Morgan: What's the problem Prod ??

Prod: Ummm, I don't know how to tell you this but Roc may be a father.... 

Morgan just sits there in complete shock. The boy she was in love with, and wanted to forgive so badly and get things right with, was already a father. 

Prod: Morgan, are you okay??

Morgan whispers

Morgan: I just wanna be left alone 

Prod hugs her and then leaves the room to check on Roc. 

Morgan sits for a few more minutes before getting up and walking into the booth to record.

I'm sooooo very sorry for the late update, senior year just really took me by surprise , but in happier news, I got accepted into my first choice college ^_^. Also in unrelated but VERY important news, my closest friend and co-writer of this book , Calesha, celebrated her birthday 3 days ago and everyone should wish her a happy belated birthday :)
