I nodded and started doing as he directed because at the end of the day, he was a drama queen.
"First, close your eyes, stretch your arms upwards for 5 seconds and then bend your body forward." He started out and I followed his words, "Now, fold your arms in a way that your elbows are outwards and now do the duck dance simultaneously saying 'quack quack.' Trust me, it will definitely help
I continuously kept doing what he said and waited for his next command but then I heard a faint sound of laughter. Immediately I opened my eyes and saw Theo fighting a snicker.
My anger had reached ultra max pro level and my fingers were itching to strangle him. He shouldn't have dared to mess with me when I was already in a mess.
"Thou shalt receive thine punishment!" I screamed and threw my hands at his neck but they went right through him.
Theo started laughing uncontrollably and all my anger transformed into calmness. Energy transformation doesn't take much time. I didn't know if it was because of Theo's angel abilities or something else but I felt like I had control over things again.
He kept laughing and tears shone in his eyes while he seemed like he was struggling to breathe. His wings shivered, he clutched his sides. I knew he glowed like the stars but he seemed to be more radiant that time; a different kind of radiant. His hair was tousled and the sound of his godly laugh was pleasing, sonorous like the Christmas bells. Stardust covered the entire room and more and more dust appeared as he kept laughing; almost recreating the splendour of the night sky.
I couldn't stop smiling even after he stopped giggling. Neither did I know what made him laugh so much at his lame prank nor did it matter because each and every moment was worth it. We just smiled at each other for too long and for absolutely no reason though one of us broke the most comfortable silence ever and of course it was him.
"So....what was the theme?" He asked still trying to keep a straight face.
"I wonder what was so funny that you started crying but the theme is....." I browsed to my planner hastily, " What If's and Maybe's."
Theo
"What if's and Maybe's." She said and a smile formed on my face.
I looked at her closely and I noticed that she kept scrunching her nose and her eyes kept twitching as she pouted. She also kept tapping her feet. By gosh, she couldn't even be still while thinking.
"Why are you quiet? Suggest me two nice topics because I realised I only have to complete two more tasks and I'll be done with the portfolio!" She exclaimed.
Dawn went back to thinking in her own weird way - though it was cute but I didn't want to mention it because I couldn't let her burst the balloon of my ego - and I realized I should start thinking too or else she'll strangle me with her eyes.
"What about 'What if I was a boy?' " I suggested.
"Too cliché." She wasted no time to reply.
"What if you weren't an orphan?"
"No way,I don't want to think about it and ruin my mood."
"What if you were a Guardian Angel?"
She stopped tapping her feet and she turned towards me at such a great speed that I almost felt the impact, "That's perfect! I'll write about everything that you are not."
Dawn winked at my playfully and scribbled in her planner while I just let out a humourless laugh.
"Okay," she stated as she struggled to cap her pen, "I got a perfect idea for the second topic."
