Adriana's POV

They can't be serious I'll get in so much trouble. I literally just told Gramps I could accomplish all this work.

"I can't do that choose something else."

"Nope we already decided it's only for the holiday it won't kill you." Zia said

I don't know, Gramps just might

"You can't do this to me, that's so unreasonable!" I exclaimed

"You're 13 enjoy the holidays." Zio added

I started hyperventilating and repeating the same phrase while covering my ears

"I'm okay, I'm okay, I'm okay." I was holding back tears

"Hey AJ breathe with me." he took deep breaths

"No you're gonna ruin my life and everything I worked for!" I got up and ran upstairs

I went straight to Enzo's room. If anyone was gonna understand it was another future mafia boss. I didn't bother knocking. He was in his underwear and so was Oscar they were making out.

"Shit don't you knock?" I looked and him teary eyed and sniffled

"Aw baby what happened?" Oscar asked

"Zia and Zio wanna take away my phone and they said no mafia for the rest of the holidays!" I cried harder

"Fuck I thought something serious happened." Enzo sighed

"It is serious unlike you I have to work really really hard to be accepted. My grandfather is really strict, and I just agreed to handle more responsibilities. I have some really impossible deadlines. I'm gonna be a failure!" I started hyperventilating at the thought of failing

"Hey hey calm down I'll talk to them. I understand the pressures of being the future boss."

"No you don't you're a guy."

"You're right I don't. I can't even imagine what you're going through right now. You're so young."

"What is it you have to do?" Oscar asked rubbing my back

"I have to confront dad about two things and have the issues situated by gramps phone call tomorrow. I have to do something by New Years and the thing takes months to complete. It's doable but I'll have to devote all my time to it. He also gave me a new job which could easily start a war with you guys. Rumor has it that he wants to give me our Cali and New York territories to run but he's not sure yet. I can't fail. Gramps believes in me so much and I don't want him to be disappointed in me!"

"Fuck that's a lot. Isn't Niko your second he should help."

"He accompanies me and helps out too but there's only so much he can handle."

"And there's only so much you can handle. It's okay to admit you can't do something." Oscar suggested

"He'll lecture me about wasting potential and damaging my reputation."

"I just need you to talk to them. I have a lot on my plate, if I fail I won't be able to live with myself. My mafia is my life without it I'm nothing." I ran my fingers through my hair

"Hey none of that I'm gonna go talk to them."

I hugged him and whispered a 'thank you'

After like 30 minutes he came back in

"Dad wants you in his office." I nodded and got up. I made my way to his office and the door was open, so I entered and sat down. It was only Zio and dad
