Chapter 2: The Event

6th August,2020

A lady in her mid twenties was running and shouting. She got into a big room and started to pant. A man was sitted on his King sized bed.

Alexander: Janyah, you should not be shouting.

Janyah: What am I supposed to do? We have to leave, do you want to be late for you own event.

Alexander: You are right, let us go..

Janyah: That big head son of yours is already in the car...

Alexander: That big head is your younger brother Aurelio.

Aurelio is a 20year old, yes the two children of this man had a five year gap..

Janyah: Whatever, I am just happy that we can honor mom in this way..

Alexander had been widowed, his wife died from breast cancer. As a neurologist, it was had for him to see his wife battle and he couldn't do anything. It was a sad period for him but he made sure that he loved her until the end. She had died a year ago and today was her death anniversary.

Alexander: Yes, let hope so.

He enters his Maserati and his driver takes them to the event...

Cookies' House

Carol: Can you two get dressed up fast?

Cookie: It is an elegant event, we have to look decent..

Candace: Exactly, Cookie is right..

Candace gets a text and she goes to check it out..

She is smiling and blushing..

Cookie: So Carol is right..

Candace: About what?

Carol: That you have a boyfriend..

Candace: Okay sisters, it's true. I really like him, he is so sweet..

Cookie: I am happy for you. Can't wait to meet him..

She says as she gets fully dressed. Ready to go..

Carol: So what about you?

Cookie: What happened to me?

Candace: She's trying to ask if you are seeing someone

Carol: Or waiting for Lucious Lyon to come back home

Cookie sighs

Cookie: He is just my friend.

Candace: Okay but, didn't you guys sleep together the night before he went to Europe..
