Before You Begin

Hello everyone! My name is Sapphire and I am the creator of this AU. You do not have to read this and can instead continue on to the story, but I would recommend you do.

This story is follows almost the exact same plot and storyline of the actual show. I have changed quite a few things regarding weapons, history, language, and outfits.

This story is darker than the show and there will be mild language (they're teenagers, come on). I want this story to have the happy family vibes of the original show, but also want to explore what could've happened if Ninjago wasn't exactly for kids. There shouldn't be anything horrific or too inappropriate. You have to 13 to be on this website anyway.

If there is anything that triggers (actual triggers, not fake ones) you as a reader, please let me know so I can change it. But if it is something is important to the story or plot, this might not be the story for you. I am aware that some people might not be comfortable with the language choice, so if I get enough comments or messages asking me to change it, I will.

There is a Tumblr ask blog run by me where you can read the story, look at art I post, and ask questions regarding the story, history, or anything else. You can even ask the ninja questions if you would like. You can find the link in my bio and in the description if this story.

I am also planning on publishing this to Archive Of Our Own.

There will be an art book where I will post all the art for this story. Anyone can draw art for the AU and please tag me if you do, I would love to see it!

Also, updates are once a month! So if you are waiting for a new update, keep in mind that I will be sticking to this schedule unless I say otherwise.
