Return safely, I'll kiss you

There's a trace on my left arm. I'm clueless why he tightened his hands on my arm last night. He is not talking to me since that dinner happened.

"Kel.." I knocked on his door. Is he still sleeping?

We have our own temporary room here in new mexico where they rented a house for a while which is 10 minutes drive from Virgin Galactic.

"Kelly.." he's not answering nor opening his door. Did I even do something wrong? Bakit wala akong maalala?

Mahigit sampung minuto na akong kumakatok dito at imposibleng 'di pa niya naririnig ang mga katok ko. "Kel!" this time, I tried yelling his name and when I was about to knock on his door, he grabbed my hands entering his room.

"What do you need?" he is topless. Napapikit na lang ako ng isang mata dahil hindi ko dapat tignan 'yon. "Why are you winking? Are you seducing me?" he laughed. I opened my left eye again and acted normal.

"Hmm!" umayos din ako ng tayo dahil hawak pa rin niya ang kamay ko at hindi maayos ang pagkakapasok ko sa kwarto niya. "Good Morning!" I greeted him and pulled my hands from his.

"Ohh.." bumilog ang bibig niya habang tinitignan ang kamay ko na hinila ko mula sa kamay niya. "Why are you here?" nakatayo pa rin siya sa harapan ko at hindi inaalis ang tingin sa'kin.

"Well..uhm.." bakit nga ba ako nandito? Hindi ko rin alam. "Just wanted to say good morning?" patanong na sagot ko.

"Is that so?" napatingala ako sa mukha niya dahil mas matangkad siya sa'kin. He took two steps and I can feel his abs on my chest.

"K-Kelly," I stuttered as he took another step that made me step back. "Hey, wh-at are you tryna do?" I nervously asked him but he's just smirking and lowered down his head to get it to the level of mine.

"You know what, Carol, I said to myself I won't let anyone have my heart anymore," I can smell his fresh breath. Ang lapit ng mukha niya sa mukha ko at sobra-sobrang kaba ang binibigay niya sa akin ngayon.

I didn't know what to say, I stayed silent.

Hindi ko alam kung sadya ba niyang pakabahin ako pero inilapit pa rin niya ng kaunti ang mukha niya at sa sobrang lapit ay nararamdaman ko na ang ilong niya sa ilong ko.

"But if you want it, I will betray myself and willingly give it to you," my heart is beating so fast. I can't move any inch. Sweats are dripping down from my face but he's still not moving. "Would you want it?"

"What?" finally! I said something. But his answer made me wish that I didn't open my mouth.

"My heart—do you want it?" this time, there's no grin in his face. His brown eyes are talking but I cannot hear them.

"A-ah," I wanted to say something but I couldn't produce any words.

"Mic test?" he slowly laughed and his fresh breath is entering my nostrils.

"What?"

He held my both shoulders with his two hands and pushed them slightly to the wall. He took another step that made me froze. "Hey, Kelly.." his face is one inch distance from mine.

"Hey too, Carol." I closed my eyes as his lips slowly began to approach mine. I didn't control myself this time. I wanted to feel something.

"Let's continue this when you're back safely from Mars." he lifted my right hand and kissed it.

I thought he was going to kiss me! I looked easy.

I bit my lower lip as a sign that I'm ashamed from what I did. "O-oh?" what did he mean we will continue this?
