"drink up" nick cooed at ivy, handing her a shot glass filled with something amber
"will i ever get used to it?" she asked before downing it, wincing at the burning sensation
"nope" nick laughed
a man stood suddenly between them, one hand on each of their shoulders
"fun's over" troy said "time to sober up"
"what the hell?" nick muttered

"troy found the staging area" nick told the group at the dam, which consisted of madison, and four people ivy didn't know, strand, daniel, efrain, and lola.
