*CLAY'S POV*

I grabbed my suitcase and walked towards room 4C. I reluctantly knocked on the door and began to hold my breath. I heard footsteps and then the door opened, revealing George's smiling face. I wanted to hug him so badly, but that would just confuse him. He didn't even know that he was meeting his best friend for the first time.

"Hi! You must be Erik!" George exclaimed excitedly, grabbing my arm and dragging me into his apartment.

"I'll give you a quick tour, ok?" George motioned to the left of the door.

"Ok so this is the kitchen, obviously, and this is the bathroom, your room is over there, and-"

I couldn't help but let out a wheeze. George was so excited, it was adorable. But not like that. Right?

George made a weird face at me.

"Ya know, you sound a lot like my friend Dream."

I stiffened.

"I do? What does he look like?"

"Well, I don't know exactly..." He said, examining my face.

"But he has blonde hair and green eyes like you. But he said he's ugly, so he can't look too much like you,"

I smirked.

"Did you just call me good-looking?"

"W-what? No, what the heck Erik!" George glared at me and pouted.

"I'm going to go get us food, ok? You can go unpack."

George grabbed his car keys off a shelf and slammed the door behind him. I glanced around the living room then made my way to my bedroom. I opened the door and found a blue-walled square room with a small closet, a bed, a dresser, and a white desk in it.

I dropped my bags on the floor and opened all the drawers in the dresser and desk as well as the closet. I have a snooping problem, ok. There was a small bag in the closet, and when I opened it I found a bunch of posters and PewDiePie fanarts. They obviously weren't George's, as he couldn't draw, but they were still pretty cool so I hung them up. I had always been a big fan of Pewds.

I started unpacking my setup and realized that I had planned a recording session with George today. That would mean I would need to go somewhere else to call him.

"ERIK! I GOT FOOD!"

I jogged to the kitchen and helped George set the table. We sat in silence as we ate.

*TIME SKIP*

I grabbed my laptop, shoved it into my backpack, and walked to the library. I hoped that they had study rooms like my library in Florida. Thankfully, they did, and I set up a mic and pulled up Minecraft

*GEORGE POV*

"Hey Dream, wassup?" I said, eager to tell Dream about my new roommate.

"Oh hey, Georgie!" I noticed that his audio quality wasn't as good as normal.

"Did you break your mic or something? Your voice sounds weird. I mean, weirder than normal."

Dream scoffed and replied, "I just broke my other mic, yeah, I'm using this backup. It's not as good."

"Ya know, I could get you a new one if you want," I suggested, loading up our world that we were gonna speedrun in.

"Uh, well, I mean, it's ok, you don't need to get anything for me," He said. It was weird, he sounded kinda nervous.

"Ok, well just tell me if you need anything, alright?" I said as Dream prepared for the intro.

"In this video, my friend tries to speedrun and beat Minecraft while I try to stop him. If I kill him once, he loses. If he beats Minecraft, I lose. This is Minecraft Manhunt."

I couldn't help but smile as he did the iconic intro. There was something so funny yet captivating about Dream talking seriously. But that didn't last for long.

"OHHHH GEORGEEEEEEE!" Dream called as he walked through the ravine that I was trying to find iron in. He sounded like an absolute psychopath and I couldn't help but sweat a bit. I got chills when Dream stopped talking.

"That couldn't have been a name that I saw just then?" He said teasingly. I could hear the oddly satisfying sound of stone breaking as he neared me. I was legitimately scared as I quickly dug a tunnel leaving my hiding space underground.

"Georgieeee you know you don't have to hide from me, I'd never hurt you," I turned red as I heard the smirk in Dream's voice.

"Shut the hell up, Dream!"

I had gathered a bit of iron and decided to go look for a lava pool. After barely making it through the Nether, I came back to the overworld and began looking for the Stronghold. Then, out of nowhere, Dream ambushed me with an enchanted diamond sword.

"WHAT! HOW?" I had no idea how he had gotten diamonds and enchantments so fast, but I didn't like it. It took a while, but after tricking Dream a few times, I managed to find the Stronghold. I knew Dream had better armor and weapons than me, so I set up a trap for him. Luckily, he fell right into it and lost all his stuff.

Dream fell from a high place

"Haha, nice Dream. Now I'm just gonna beat the end in peace," I said, smirking now that I thought i would finally beat him. I was bridging across the void when Dream came out of nowhere and punched me into the void.

"Wot? WHAT!"

"AAHAHHAHHA!" Dream yelled. I proceeded to curse so we cut the video there. After Dream made fun of me for a good twenty minutes, he told me he had to go somewhere and ended our call.
