Your POV:

"O- Oh," I said weakly, passing him a smile, as I fiddled with the buttons on my coat, suddenly feeling self-conscious. "Can I come in?"

"Yup," He sent a boxy grin to me before stepping out of my way. I stepped inside and let my eyes roam the room quickly, searching for my two dorky roommates. "If you're looking for your friends, I think they are in the back."

He swayed beside me and my hands lunged out to help him but I stopped myself from touching him. He was drunk, it seemed. But his words didn't seem slurred so I gave him a concerned look.

"Are you okay?" I asked him. He smiled again but I could have sworn that I saw sadness in his eyes.

"Yup, don't worry about me," the sadness disappeared as he gave me an even wider close-eyed smile. I gave him a once over as I stepped back to make sure he isn't falling before I gave him a nod and left after saying thank you.

As I struggled to reach the back, I couldn't help but remember what Eul-soo had told me. He was with Jae-hee... But I couldn't see her around when I meet him...

A hand suddenly grabbed me and I nearly yelled but a hand clamped over my mouth. I panicked but calmed down when I saw Min-ji's face. She removed the hand in my face and dragged me upstairs.

When we reached the second floor, she looked around before walking to a door and opening it. Inside, Eul-soo had passed out on the bed. Min-ji rubbed her temples as she led me inside.

"What do we do?" She whispered, sitting next to our friend who was learning to be a make-up artist. I quickly thought about the situation we were in.

"Eul-soo doesn't weigh much," I said slowly. "We can pick her up and set her on my back. I'll piggy-back her to our dorm room. You can walk with me."

"Are you sure?" Min-ji asked, unsure of my idea. I nodded firmly and sat down on my knees. Min-ji gently picked up Eul-soo like a bride before she placed her on my back slowly. Eul-soo woke up for a few seconds at the moment, and we managed to fit her on my back with her help.

Her arms were wrapped around my neck and I had placed my hands below her thighs to support her. Min-ji gave us a once-over before she opened the door and we started the trek down the staircase.

On the way out, a few people stared at us while most of them ignored us. I ignored the ones who were staring but I couldn't help but notice that Taehyung was staring too.

We went back to the dorm and by the time I placed her on her bed, my back was screaming curses at me. I ignored the pain and instead went to the bathroom to check on Min-ji.

I removed the coat and hung it on the hook of the door that was on the way to the bathroom. I stepped inside to see her washing her face.

"You okay?" I asked softly. "Want me to make some lemonade?"

"I'm good," she replied with a painful smile. "Just not ready for a hangover... A lemonade would be nice."

"Okay," I said, going out to grab the concentrated version my mom had taught me to make. I poured in the water and pinch of salt and stirred it before giving it to the freshened up Min-ji. "There you go. Off to sleep once you're done, and no excuses."

"You are the best, (y/n)," she said with a soft smile. "We are very undeserving of you... We trouble you so much, yet you're always so loving and caring... I love you, hun."

"I love you too, which is why I do all this for you," I reminded her as I took the glass from her hands. I went to the bathroom and rinsed it before washing up myself. I came out to find two dead asleep roommates.

I shook my head as I remembered their silliness when they were drunk. They always do the funniest things, but tonight was a bit....

I slipped under my covers and as I stared at the ceiling, I couldn't help but feel that loving and caring for somebody is what I do the best.

"Oh god, fuck!" Eul-soo's yell woke me up and I sat up, looking around in alarm. "Shit, ow.... My head hurts like bitch... Oh, sorry, (y/n), I woke you up..."

Min-ji came out of the bathroom with an amused look on her face as she handed Eul-soo a pill and a glass of water. Eul-soo quickly downed it before giving me an apologizing look. I rubbed my eyes as I stared at the clock.

8:30. Pretty good for a Saturday morning, I thought to myself. I decided to freshen up and take a bath but the moment I went inside the bathroom, Eul-soo started cursing again.

"Why do I drink?"

"Because you can't live without it."

"I promise I'll never drink again."

"This is the 88th time you have made this promise now."

"Seriously, I'll do it this time."

"You don't have to give it up. Just drink less, 'soo."

"But I can't stop myself..."

"Then learn to do it. Do you know how much we trouble poor (y/n) because you drink too much?!"

"I'm, I'm sorry, okay? I just... Lose control."

"Yeah, well, she's had to face so many things because of you and sometimes me, that I swore to drink less, and I do that. I drink as long as I am sober. Then I stop. Just do that, please."

"I- I'll try my best. (Y/n)! I'm sorry. Really. I don't mean to trouble you, it just.... happens. I'm really sorry."

"It's okay," I called out to her, an amused smile on my face now. Little did she know, her drunken shenanigans had made me firm on one thing.

I am never going to drink.
