Crossfire

Ever since that day in Jitters, Ella and Kara had become close friends quickly, not because of their mutual friend, but because they just have a lot in common and share similar personalities. Ella would also tell Barry if anything was wrong in Kara's life, or if anyone hurt her.

"Bye guys." Ella waved as she left the house to have lunch with Kara

"Looks like she'e become good friends with your sister." Eva said as Barry sighed

"Yeah, it's kinda creepy." He said

"How do you think Kara will react whe she finds out you've been lying to her?" Eva asked

"I don't have too, because she won't find out." Barry said standing up and grabbing his coat

Jitters

Ella walked into Jitters and saw Kara already at a table typing on her laptop.

"Hey Kara." Ella waved as they shared a quick hug.

"Hi Ella." Kara said as she sat across from her

"What'cha writing about?" Ella asked as Kara sighed

"A few weeks ago a man named Nelson Horton was murdered in the middle of his own party." Kara said as Ella's heart sunk knowing that Kara's foster brother was the one that she was writing about.

"How sad." Ella said taking a sip of her coffee. As they were talking three man walked through the front door all dressed in black and looking around, as if they were searching for someone. Ella ignored is until three woman walked through the other door doing the same thing, the three men and women made eye contact and pulled out guns

"Everybody get down!!" Ella yelled at they opened fire on eachother. Ella flipped over a table and hid behind it with Kara. Ella's phone was in the middle of the crossfire so she couldn't call for backup and she left the house unarmed, for an assassin like her, she was practically naked.

Ella waited until they were reloading before jumping over the table and kicking one of the women in the face knocking her out. She picked up the pistol she was using and shot that other two in the head. The three men on the other side began shooting at her as she ducked behind cover, a bullet grazed her cheek drawing a little bit of blood.

"No respect." Ella mumbled throwing an empty cup at them, they shot it out of the air, but in their moment of distraction they saw Ella disarm one of them and using that gun she killed the other two.

"Who sent you!?" Ella asked pointing the gun at his head

"Bratva." The man said as Ella smiled

"Thank you." She before shooting him

She ran over to the women she killed and pulled their shirts up to see a jade dragon tattoo.

"Triad." She mumbled as the police bust down the door

"Hands on your head CCPD!!!" The yelled runing in and seeing all six shotters dead

"What happened here?" They asked as Ella waved slightly

"Uhh hi, i was just having coffee with my friend until these six came in here with there guns, but i defused the situation." She said proudly

"By killing them all?"

"I have a lot of military training." She said shwowing them a fake badge that Task Force-X members had just in case of situations like this.

"Do you have any idea on why they were here?" A police man asked

"Nope, sorry." Ella said before rushing out of the building and back home, where she would no doubt be lectured by Eva and Reece for being irresponsible. She returned home a was greeted with a hug from Eva.

"Thank god you're okay." Eva said smiling

"Thank you, Where's Barry?" Ella asked as the front door swung open

"Are you okay?" Barry asked as she nodded

"I'm aye okay." She smiling with her thumb up

"Your cheek is bleeding." Eva whispered as the rest of Task Force-X came over.

"I'll get it." Eva said answering the door.

"We know who attacked Jitters." Adrian said

"Triad and Bratva." Ella said as the team looked at her

"Yeah? How'd you know?" Adrian asked

"I was there, i killed them all." She smiled as Reece tended to her wound

"Why were they there?" Barry asked

"Nelson Horton, each side thinks that the other side killed Horton, he dealed in weapons and drugs for each side behind the others back, if this escalates it could mean a gang war, but on a much larger scale." Adrian said 

"We need to take them both out before that happens." Barry said as the team gather for their orders

"Floyd, Reece and Adrian, you three will take out the Bratva, i will try and call back-up from General Shriev but he may not send them because this isn't an assignment." Barry said as they nodded and left

"Does that mean we get to fight the Triad?" Ella asked excitedly

"I wouldn't be so excited if i were you, Triad members are extremely loyal and well-trained." Eva said making Ella frown

"You're no fun." Ella pouted

"No she's right, Eva do you know anyone in the Triad?" Barry asked as Eva nodded slightly

"Yeah, my sister, but we don't have the best relationship......" Eva sighed. Barry rubbed his temple trying to come up with a plan.

"Okay, do you know where the main Triad base is located?" Barry asked as Eva nodded slightly

"Suit up, time for a family reunion." Barry smirked as his team nodded and walked to their rooms.

Barry was worried about Kara seeing as how she was there in the crossfire and he needed to make sure she was okay.
