Chapter 8

Camila's Pov

There was a knock on my window and I knew who was there. I walked over to it and opened it to let the girl in.
" Hey y/n, what are you doing here " i asked slightly tilting my head to the side in confusion. She stepped closer to me while staring me in my eyes. I could tell that she was contemplating on what to do.

" Hey, what is it " i said moving closer and putting my hand on her upper arm rubbing it in comfort.

" Nothing, I just " she started putting her hands on my waist. This action caused me to blush. " I've waited too long " she said before pulling me into her as close as possible. My hands were on her abdomen and we were looking at each other as if we were in a trance. She moved her face closer to me and I closed my eyes from anticipation. Our faces were so close I could feel her breath on my face and-

" HEY " someone yelled in my ear making me fall out of bed. I heard laughter and I rolled my eyes.

" Not funny sofi " i said as i got up and glared at her

" Well i needed to do something to get you to wake up " she said as i shook my head

" What did you need sofi ? " i asked as she came and hugged me which made me smile

" Mama said to wake you up, you have school today remember ? "

" Oh yeah " i said and frowned at the thought of seeing y/n after the dream that i had

" Hey kaki ? "

" Yeah sofi ? " i asked as i looked at her

"I know who you were dreaming about " she said and giggled

" Pfttt what are you talking about sofi , i wasn't dreaming about anyone"

" Yes you were, you were dreaming about y/n " she said dragging out her name

" You have no proof " I said but immediately regretted it

" Oh y/n, what are you doing here " she said before puckering her lips and slowly leaning forward. Before she could do or say anything else, I hit her with the pillow next to me causing her to giggle

" Get out of my room "

" Aww kaki i'm soweyyy " she said cutely as i rolled my eyes

" Let's go before mama starts coming up here " i said as i lifted her up and headed down stairs

I got to school and spotted taylor at her locker talking to some guy

" Let me just barrow her for a second" i said as i dragged her to the janitors closet

" Hey, why'd you do that, he was totally going to ask me out " she said as i rolled my eyes

" Taylor that guy is on the football team and he changes girlfriends every other day " i said as she pouted

" I just wanted to try my luck " she said

" Forget that, i have a bigger problem" i said

" What is it ? " she asked

" I had one of those dreams again " i said as she giggled

" It's not funny taylor " i said

" Ok ok, what happened this time? " she asked

" We almost kissed " i said

" Ooooo well why didn't you guy's "

" Because sofi yelled into my ears and woke me up " i said

" Ok but like, do you even like y/n like that ? " she asked as i frowned

" Idk i mean there are sometimes when i'm with her i feel safe and at ease and my cheeks heat up a lot and like there's something in my stomach not a bad feeling but idk what it is "

" You mean butterflies " she said

" Yeah" i said as a smile made it's way to my face

" Well baby c there's your answer you like her, but you also like alex and that's where things start to take a turn " she said

" Then you'll have to choose between the two of them and trust me that's the worst thing to make a person do "

"What should i do taylor ?" i asked

" Well you have to see which of them you like the most " she said

" Ok and how do i go by doing that ? " i asked

" Try talking to y/n first then go to alex , i'll write down some questions for you to ask them but in the mean time let's go to class " she said and dragged me out of the closet

It was the end of last period when taylor said:

" Here you go " as she handed me a piece of paper and i slipped it into my backpack

" Remember eye contact is everything just stare her in the eyes while you're talking to her trust me it will get her to reveal a little more than she intended and watch her body language maybe fold your arms or something and if she does the same thing then she's paying attention and listening to what you have to say "

" Ok got it " i said

" And since alex didn't show up today we'll have to deal with him some other time "

" Ok well i'll see you later " i said and hugged her

" Bye baby c " she said and waved

" Bye taylor " i said and left to go find y/n as i was walking down the school hall i spotted her by the water fountain talking to kylie . I cleared my throat which caused them to stop talking and look at me

" Oh hey mila, you ready to go ? " y/n asked as i nodded my head yes

" Ok, well bye kylie "

Y/n's Pov

" Why won't you let me hold your hand ? " i asked camila as we exited the building

" Cuz i just don't want you to " she said as i frowned

" But i didn't do anything " i said as she stopped walking and turned to look at me

" Are you sure about that ? " she asked as i gave her a confused look

" Uh yeah ? "

" What were you guy's talking about y/n ? " she asked and folded her arms

" Oh that's what this is about " i said and chuckled

" It's not funny y/n what were you guy's talking about "

" My party, chill " i said as i tried to grab her hand but she pulled it away

" Who said you could invite her ?" she asked while glaring at me

" Well you see my dad knows her mom so.... he invited her " i said as she rolled her eyes

" Whatever " she said as she began walking again

" So you really not finna let me hold your hand huh "
