"i'm sure you're all wondering why you're here," mr. santos said to the eight teenagers. they all glanced at each other with fear and nodded their heads. mr. santos indicates for gina's mom to speak so she stepped forward.

"i finally brought myself to go to gina's room after five months of her missing," mrs. porter said with tears running down her face. ricky and nini gave each other a nervous glance but quickly focused back on mrs. porter. "i found this note she wrote the day she went missing."

nini held in her breath, nervous for what was gonna be said. did gina write every single thing that happened before she took off? was nini finally gonna be exposed?

ricky noticed how nervous nini was and gently grabbed her hand. he started to rub his thumb over her hand to try and calm her nerves down. nini let out a deep sigh and calmed her nerves.

"it says: gonna go to the lake to clear my head. im trying to fix somethings that ive done wrong. i'll be home soon, love you.... gina," mrs. porter read aloud before she ran into mr. porter's arms.

mr. santos stepped forward again and looked down at the eight teenagers, "we sent you guys home because we're going to be doing a search party for gina at the lake. we need all the help we could get and all of you were close to her so.. it felt necessary to have you guys here."

all eight of them glanced at each other, not really knowing what to say or how to feel. they've all had bad blood with gina, but at the end of the day.. this was gina they were talking about. they looked at the police officers and her parents and nodded their heads.

on the other hand, nini thought this was stupid. any second now and gina could go bursting through the door and expose her of everything she's done. gina's not missing. she ran away.
