This is such a bittersweet 'chapter' to write. I can't believe that I finally finished this story. I never meant for Wyatt's Mate to be a long story, and I could tell when I would finish it and how, but it almost seems too fast.
I didn't want to put my author's note at the end of the last chapter because it just didn't feel right to end with that, so I added a separate chapter. Besides, I had way too much to say.
The last chapter was really long and that's because I wanted to make it very celebratory and special. Also, the last part of Zombies 2 is quite long. I debated whether or not ot write a sequel or continue the book, but honestly I didn't have any good ideas for how that would go and it just didn't feel right to write a sequel. There would have to be a time skip and I'm not very good at fitting those in to my stories.
Thank you to everyone who has read this from the first day I published the first chapter. This book has gained more popularity statistically than my other book, (Sophie's Selection, go read it if you want to.) which kind of blows my mind.
