Thursday morning I was in my room pacing in front of my wardrobe wondering what to pack for my mysterious date. Gabriel was no help since I had barely seen him all week and I didn't have his number. Yeah shocker. I was going on a date with a guy whose number I didn't have. Yaaayh me.

I grabbed my phone and dialed the person who would know what to do. My elder sister Kendi. Remember her the fashion icon with lots of followers.

"Nia someone had better be dying. It's six o'clock in the morning." She groaned into the phone.

I knew she wasn't awake yet when I was calling her but this was an emergency. Her sleep could wait.

"Yeah you, if you don't help me figure out an outfit." I replied.

"Girl I love you but you've been dressing yourself since you were five. What do you need me for?" She asked.

"I do dress myself but never for a date." I replied feeling very frustrated.

I heard shuffling "Okay am up. Tell me everything." She replied and I smiled.

I knew she would have my back on this no matter what. My sisters and I were close. We had to be considering it was just us and my mom. Being the baby of the family they were always overprotective and as much as I hated it at times I loved them because I knew why they did it. They still gave me my freedom because they knew the more they put a leash on me the more I rebelled. Zawadi the first born was the smart one obviously being a lawyer and all. She was bossy but kind and very goal oriented but she always put family first. Kendi was the adorable good girl next door. She was down to earth, made friends easily and was the kind of person you could tell anything. I as you all know was the rebel of the family. The bad girl with a savage attitude to match. Thankfully we all balanced each other out perfectly. Zawadi bossed us around, I rebelled and Kendi kept the peace. It was the perfect partnership.

Back to business now. I told Kendi everything from the beginning and got a scolding for almost getting alcohol poisoning. See. Good girl. She was happy to hear I was making new friends and asked me to at least give Gabriel a chance. I told her only time would tell.

"Now that we've caught up. Please advice on what to pack." I asked feeling frustrated.

"Why do you need my help again?" Kendi asked teasingly but I answered her nonetheless.

"Because am your sister and I need your help. You dress people all the time. Even celebrities. So chop chop. Work your magic."

"Okay, cool your jets woman. He asked you to pack extra outfits so your probably going away for the weekend. He doesn't seem like the kind to take you to a beach or a fancy hotel for a whole weekend on the first date so here's what to pack. Pack a few outdoor outfits that you are comfortable in. One bikini just to be safe. A few dresses both casual and dinner date. And be flexible on the shoes but you always wear sneakers and boots so just make sure you have at least a pair of shoes to wear to dinner. Don't forget to pack lingerie. You might get lucky."

I snorted at that last statement.

"Oh please. Saint Gabriel? In my dreams." I replied.

"Well just pack in incase." She explained.

"Thanks siz. I owe you one."

"Yes you do. Now I expect details when you get back." She demanded.

"Yes ma'am. I love you. Take care."

"Always. I love you too." and we both hang up.

Time to get packing. Now that I come to realize it, Kendi mentioned a lot of outfits for just a three day trip if it was just that. Oh well. You can never pack too much as a girl. I grabbed the smallest suitcase I had and began packing for my weekend getaway. I didn't even known if it was that but since I had no idea where Gabriel was taking me it would remain named like that for now. I was freaking out inside because I had never done anything like this before but I was also happy to be doing it with Gabriel. The hottest guy on the planet with the heart of gold, the sweetest smile and the kindest eyes.
