Your POV~

      After putting on our NerveGears and logging in, the battle soon began and got teleported with Sinon. "Kirito's probably skinny-dipping right now..." I muttered to myself as I walked behind Sinon. She turned around with a look of pure confusion on her face. Blush started to creep towards my cheeks and I frantically waved my hands. "No, no, it's nothing...haha..." I laughed nervously and she just shrugged and continued to walk forwards.

~Time Skip (because I'm a bit lazy...haha...yeah...)~

       I was on the ground, paralyzed, Death Gun standing in front of me. Then he outstretched his hand, holding that gun that caused Sinon pain, a Black Star Type 54. I heard her gun drop to the ground and looked over at her behind the pillar. She was there to cover me but right now she was truly terrified, you could see it clearly written on her face. He then turned towards me and slowly aimed it at my head. I honestly didn't know whether to be scared or not to be. 'Could I die in this world now?' I wondered. I turned my gaze back at Death Gun and he put his finger on the trigger.

       Just as he was about to shoot, a different shot was sounded and a red bullet mark was visible on Death Gun's shoulder. Then a cut appeared on his arm. He looked around then ran behind a pillar too, putting his gun away and pulling out his bigger one. A grenade was thrown in between us and I lightly smiled. Death Gun then turned and ran away from us.

        Smoke started pouring out of the grenade-like 'thing' and I felt hands pick me up. "Thanks Kirito~" I said, embarrassed. He smiled at me and Sinon came out of hiding. "I'm so sorry (y/n)! Please forgive me, I didn't know what to do!" she said. I waved my hand dismissively and said, "No, no. It's fine! Really!" She looked a bit relieved and Kirito set me down in the motorcycle-like automobile. Sinon sat beside me and Kirito began to drive down the road.

        After Death Gun began chasing us on the road and Sinon shot the car after I helped her, the car exploded and Death Gun gave up on trying to chase us. We soon took cover in a cave and talked to one another and a long period of awkward silence. "Does Death Gun have the ability to go invisible. I mean, he appeared right beside you two." Kirito asked. "It's an ability called 'Metamaterial Optic-Distortion Camoflage'." Sinon told us. "But we should be alright here. He may be invisable but in this rough sand around us, he'll still make sounds and we can still see his footprints." There was another pause of silence. "Well...thank you for saving me guys!" I said. Sinon looked down and planted her head in her knees after saying, "If only I had been more alert..." 'Crap. Wrong thing to say.' I patted her back and smiled at her. "It's okay. Really, I'm not mad at you in any sort of way. Just you being there comforted me. Just knowing that you had my back." I told her. She looked up and gave me a smile.

        "Thank you (y/n)." she said, then looked back down. "...I always thought it would be okay if I died. If I died alone...I'd rather die then live in fear. That it's okay if I died alone, that it was my fate." "Everyone's afraid to die." I told her. "...I'm not afraid, though." she said. "Everyone is afraid to die," Images of Sachi played through my mind. From the anime, not what I did, of course. "But no one dies alone." "...No one cares if I-" she started. "I care. Kirito cares. The people you saved that day cares-" She turned towards me and grabbed my shirt. Kirito made movements behind me but I held up my hand to tell him to stop. "How do you know about that day?! You don't know anything. You have people who care about you. You have friends. I...I dont have anyone!" she said, tears hitting the ground. "You have us. You have me. I'm your friend." I told her. "Then tell me...would you be friends with a MURDERER?!" she shouted, looking up at me with tears falling one after the other. "I don't consider you a murderer." I told her. "You only killed him to save your mom, to save the others that were there-" "How do you know about that?! You don't. You don't-" "I do. Believe me...I know what it's like to be alone. And I want you to know that you're not anymore. I'll be there for you. I'm your friend." I said, looking her dead in the eyes. I felt Kirito grab my hand. I looked back and saw him, a concerned look on his face but he smiled at me. Sinon laid her head down on my shoulder and sobbed, tears still falling. I soothingly rubbed her back and let her cry like a mother would do and smiled comfortingly. "Thank you (y/n)..." I heard Sinon say between sobs.

         After Sinon had calmed down, Kirito had his break through and explained that there was two Death Guns. The avatar and the one who kills them in the real world. That the avatar goes invisable and steals their information they enter for BoB and the real world one kills them from their room after they get shot in game. Kirito then got an extremely worried expression on his face. "When he was first firing on his horse, he was aiming at you, (y/n)." Kirito said. "That means the preparations are complete. Death Gun in the real world is...in my room right now." I finished. Kirito looked surprised at the way I finished that sentence. "Are you not scared?" he asked. I turned to face him. "Are you kidding?! I'm freaking out right now!" I said. "But how did he get in my house? My sisters and mom and there...wait...they said that they were going over to a friends house and might not be back until late at night..." Panic started building up and Kirito must've noticed because he grabbed my hand. "(Y/n), I'm not going to let him shoot you. Got that? I'm going to protect you. We escaped SAO and ALO together, alive, so you can not and are not going to die on me now. Okay?" Kirito said. I smiled at him. "Are you kidding? I've survived this long, I'm not gonna die today! You would be lost without me!" I teased. He smiled at me. "If your avatar wasn't a girl and cameras weren't around, I would totally kiss you right now." I told Kirito. We all laughed and got up onto our feet.

        "You can't leave me alone again." Sinon said. "Because you're my new friend." She smiled at me and I smiled back. "I wouldn't dream of it." I said. We high-fived and I got images a certain Irish youtuber I watch in my mind. I laughed under my breath and felt Kirito squeeze my hand. "Let's go."

If you can name that youtuber I'll grant you...I don't know...one kiss with Kirito? Or a cookie...or cake...I don't know what I'm saying any more XD But I can't write a New Years chapter for this story right now but I will eventually, probably not on New Years, but I may for my other story...maybe. So I guess if you want a New Years experience with Kirito from me then read the chapter for my other story? I don't know. You don't have to do that! IM RAMBLING!! GOMEN!!
