Christmas Kisses

Your POV~

       I woke up with a pain in my neck. While I rubbed it I yawned and layed back down on my bed. I then remembered what day it was. My eyes shot open and I pushed the covers off of my body. I jumped out of bed, a smile on my face. I got ready and when I finished putting on my jacket, I heard a knock on the door. I grinned and ran down the stairs.

        When I got downstairs, my sisters were already on the couch, watching christmas movies. They looked over at me and grinned devilishly. Confused, I opened the door.

          Kirito was standing in the doorway. He had on a black t-shirt, jacket, and jeans. He stepped into my house and looked up. I could faintly see pink present on his cheeks. "Hm?" I asked as I looked up. Mistletoe was hanging in the doorway. Right above us. I looked back at Kirito and heard my sisters trying to cover up their giggles. I glared at them but thanked them so much on the inside. They started peeking over the couch, watching us and started making kissing motions.

            Then Kirito pressed his lips against mine and out of the corner of my eye, I saw Kirito give my sisters a thumbs-up. 'Was he on this too?' I wondered. I could still hear them giggling in the background.

             After we pulled away, I turned towards my sisters and said, "Happy now?" They nodded and Channing said, "Wow, (y/n) actually kissed a boy~!" before they turned back towards the t.v. "Well, we're gonna go now." I told them and Kirito and I walked out the door.

            When we arrived at the ice rink and tied the laces on our skates, we stepped onto the ice. I started skating around as I pulled Kirito along with me. He stumbled a few times and I giggled every time he did. "It's not my fault that it's my first time skating." he compained as he blushed. "I know~" I said as I ruffled his hair.

             After a while, we stepped off the ice and bought some hot chocolate. We sat down at table set for two. I started blowing into the cup to cool it down until Kirito started laughing. He got up from the table and went back to the stand to get something. He came back with a cup of ice. "It's faster if you put ice in it." he chuckled. He put two cubes into my cup, making the beverage ripple. "Thank you." I muttered. "Your welcome." he smiled as he patted my head. We started to laugh and sip on our hot chocolate.

              When we got back to my house, we started giving each other gifts. Kirito had given the picture of us that (f/n) had taken the night when Kirito took me to the festival along with another of us in Alfheim, which was taken from his screenshots on his Nerve Gear. The frame was decorated with pictures of our swords from SAO. Next he opened my gift. I had given him my sketchbook full of drawings from SAO and Alfheim. Of course I had made copies for me to keep but I gave him the originals. He started flipping through each page, grinning happily as he relived the memories. "It's not the best but-" "What are talking about? This is amazing!" Kirito told me, smiling."Thank you (y/n)." We started staring into each others eyes. "Just kiss already!" my sisters said and held mistletoe above our heads. We kissed once more. "Aww~!" Channing cooed. "They're so cute together~!" Tatum added. My face grew warm and I heard Kirito chuckle. "Merry Christmas (y/n)!"

            Indeed it was. The best Christmas yet. My first Christmas with my true love.
