Pretty much the one to be isolated for a while, trying to understand with himself why is this happening and what he did to attract it towards his life and his beloved one's life. Could even flee for a couple of weeks, trying to find some breathable air and space, maybe in denial. But would be by her side until her last day and then, life moves on.

A punch in his face or an arrow in his chest wouldn't surprise or hurt him this much. The news would approach him from his sweet one even more than before, maybe making him a little overcaring and overprotective. Would fight to make her last moments as pleasable as possible, but while she sleeps, he would lose nights awake, trying to reach the gods with his pleads.

The news is like fire, burning in his skin. He would be devastated and would leave for a while into the woods, to scream his anger out, curse the gods and maybe cry where no one can see his suffering or mock him for this. But after this, with his chest empty, he would come back and stand by her side until the end of her days. All his attention would be hers and not even Ivar's sassiness can make him angry anymore.

From his brothers, he's the one unable to accept the news. His anger is clear, his fury is uncontrollable and someone among the healers would end up dead for this terrible discovery. Would push the healer team as much as he could, even threatening their lives and their families for forcing them into research for a solution. But in the end, he would break down like a boy, screaming at the gods and crying his beloved one taken away from him.
