Chapter 7

Previously on In Unity There is Strength...
Layla said she needed some air, but was out there for a very long time...Nova and I decided to check on her...we yelled her name but we didn't hear anything but crickets and bugs in the air. We decided to spilt up and look for her...I tripped over something..when I looked at what I tripped over...nova heard me screaming bloody murder. She came running with a horrified look as she saw what was laying on the ground.

Rose P.O.V

Nova and I saw Layla's cold and bloody body. I checked for her pulse, not a single beat from her heart and I couldn't feel her pulse. Like the furies of ancient Greece that ceaselessly pursue blood atonement, when a crime has been committed. The vixens and I vowed that we will not rest until those responsible for the murder of our sister Layla is rightly punished. "Nova call 911! I'll go get the other girls." I told her. She nodded and called 911. I went upstairs to tell the girls about what just happened. They were all shocked and upset about what had happened. We all came rushing downstairs to the backyard to say our goodbyes to sweet Layla.

Nova P.O.V

I was in complete shock over what had happened...Has Riverdale turned into a town of murder again? Or was this just a one time thing with one grudge against one person? I wanted to believe it was a one time thing, but in the back of my head I knew that this was only the beginning...What had happened to Layla would soon happen to somebody else. Who would it happen to next? Alexa? Chris? piper? Rose? Caleb? Maybe even Me...

(10 minutes later the Sheriff aka FP Jones had arrived)

"Did you see what happened?" The sheriff asked me " No! We were just in the house hanging out with everyone waiting for Layla to come back, but once me and Rose realized she was gone for too long we went to go find her when Rose tripped over her D-dead body..."I replied I was terrified.

(After 1 hour the Sheriff was done investigating the crime scene and it was now time for us all to go home and I was ready to get out of there)

Rose P.O.V

My grandfather FP offered Nova and I a ride back to our houses. He dropped Nova at her house, and took me back to my house. He made sure that I got in safe. I ran to make sure my parents were okay. I knocked on their door. My dad open the door looking like he just woke up.  I ran inside their room terrified from the previous events. I told my parents about what had happened. They comforted me. I stayed with my parents til around 3 in the morning. I started to walk to my room, but my brothers door was open. I looked inside and saw Caleb asleep. I guess my parents were alright with him staying with us, and they told him that he could use my brother's room to sleep in. I walked towards the bed and sat on the edge of the bed playing animal crossing on his Nintendo switch. Eventually I fell asleep next to him. I
