Chapter 5

Nova P.O.V
(Alarm goes off 6:30Am)
Another day to get through *sighs* well I guess I better get ready so that I'm not late to school. 30 minutes later I'm all ready for school wearing a camo green cropped top with camo green sweats with vans and gold hooped earrings and winged eyeliner with highlighter and mascara.
(15 mins later I arrive at school)
"Hey Rose!" I said "hey." She replied " she seemed annoyed to be talking to me but I didnt care or at least I told myself I didn't care "so detention sucked!" I said to her "yeah but at least it's over now" she replied "yep! Truer words could not have been spoken!" I said to her "yeah well see you in 3rd hour history" she replied "Yeah see ya!" As I was walking down the hallway with my books in my hand I bump into Chris "ouch!" I said "I'm so sorry I didn't see you!" He replied "it's ok (I smiled)" "good are you hurt?" He asked me "I'm fine!" I replied "ok good" he replied while smiling at me. All of the sudden my heart started pounding fast and I had butterflies in my stomach "so this is random... And I know we've only briefly talked a few times... But I was wondering if you would be interested in going on a date with me... "He said to me he looked nervous "um I'm really busy and I have a lot going on right now..." I replied "oh..." He seemed disappointed "you know what sure! I'll go on a date with you!" I said to him. "really?! Well great ill pick you up tomorrow at 6:30Pm! See you then! " he said to me "wait where are we going?" I asked "you'll see tomorrow! I got to get to class now bye!" He said to me. Right then I got super nervous wondering if I had made the right decision or not guess I'll have to wait and see I thought to myself.

Rose P.O.V

As the alarm rang in my ears, I tossed over and dismissed it. I'm so tired, I only got an hour of sleep.

*moments from last night*
After my parents went to bed, I climb down from my window, using a ladder, and grabbed my switchblade knife for protection. I walked to the white wyrm and had some fun while I was there. After 5 hours, I walked back home an hour before I had to get up.

*back to the present*
I woke with a massive headache. I didn't care what I look like, I grabbed a grey tank top, a long black cardigan, black leggings, and my spiked ankle boots, but my beanie on then I left for school. I slept through my first and third hour of class. Before fourth hour, I put makeup around my eye bags and a little bit of mascara. This day is going very slowly. After I school and cheer practice. I went to work and went I walked through the doors, I noticed the hot guy from the previous day, sitting at the counter alone. I went up to him. "Have you been helped?" The guy look up at me and shook his head no. "Well I'll be the one that will be serving you today. So what can I get you to drink?" I replied. "Coffee." Was all he said in his low raspy voice. I got him his coffee. "Do I know you, because the first time I saw you look so familar." I asked. He look up back at me and smiled. That smile sent butterflies in my stomach. "So, Rose." He started to say. "H-how do you know my name? I asked. " I didn't change that much, noodles." He smirk. The only person who called me noodles was-I look up in shock. "C-caleb? I asked. "The one in only." I smiled at the sight of my best friend possible lover in grade school, before he moved to a different state for all of middle school. "So listen, I get off in a few minutes, do you wanna take a ride on my motorcycle?" I replied. "Sure." Was all he said.

*time laspe* 1 hour

After the ride, I took him to my house to chat and talk for a while. We watched a couple of movies. Pretty soon it was 2 in the morning, I looked up and he was fast asleep on the couch. I got up and grabbed him a pillow and blanket. I lifted his head a little" bit to put a pillow below him, and wrapped him in a blanket and kissed him on the forehead. I decided to sleep on the other couch in the living room thinking how I accidentally told my feelings for him on the motorcycle ride, and that he felt the same way. With that I ended up falling asleep.
After 5 hours of rest, I woke up...noticed that that I had 30 minutes before school started...I scrambled off the couch wearing the same clothes from yesterday...my parents already went to work...I woke Caleb up...I gave him some of my brother's clothes before he went to college...they pretty much had the same style of clothing...we put on new pair of clothes on, not eating breakfast and racing the clock to get on time for school...on my motorcycle...barely making it on time...Caleb was a year older than me..so he's a grade above me..."Hey, Caleb?" He looked at me with his brown eyes.. "I was wondering if you'll like to go on a date with me tonight?" I asked him. "Yeah. sure." He replied. I smiled and nodded and ran to my first hour class.

Nova P.O.V
I woke up the next morning excited for the day because I had my date with Christopher tonight. I got ready for school but I didn't wear a good outfit or makeup to school, because I only wanted to look good tonight for my date. (15 minutes later I arrive at school) "Hey Rose!" I said "Hey what's got you so excited?" She replied "Well....CHRIS ASKED ME ON A DATE!!! AND I'M GOING ON IT TONIGHT!! " I said to her. "Wait really? No way I actually asked Caleb on a date and he said yes!" she replied "No way! What a coincidence! " I said to her "yeah it really is.." She replied. "I just got the craziest idea..!" I said to her. "Really, what's your idea? " she replied to me. "well.. I was thinking that maybe... We could go on a double date!! I would have to check in with Chris and make sure it's all right but I'm sure it would be alright with him!" I said to her "that's a great idea! And I would have to ask Caleb but I'm sure it would be alright with him too what time? " she replied and asked me "6:30Pm" I replied to her. "ok yeah I'll go ask Caleb" she said to me " Yeah and I'll go ask Chris tell me if he says yes! "

(5 hours later at the end of school after I had asked Chris if it was alright and she had asked Caleb if it was alright we reported back to each other with the answers)

"Hey Rose!!" I said "Hey" she replied "So Chris said yes!! " I said to her "Really? That's great!" She replied. "yeah what did Caleb say!? " I asked her. "He said ok" she replied "Really that's great! So see you at 5:30pm?" I asked. "5:30? I thought you said they were picking us up at 6:30pm " she replied to me "Yeah but we are getting ready together silly! So I'll see you at 5:30pm" I said to her "ok yeah see you then she replied. "
