Rose P.O.V
I went over to Nova's house to get ready for our double date with the guys at 6:30. We got into our outfits and did makeup, hair and hung out til the guys came in and got us

Nova P.O.V

(At 6:30pm the guys had arrived and we got into the car and left)

"So where are we going on our date boys?" I asked "you'll see" Chris replied. Rose just stayed silent I could tell she was nervous so to ease her nervousness I created a conversation with her "So Rose how's being the leader of the serpents been working for you?" I asked her "it's been a little difficult but nothing I can't handle" she replied to me "I think it's so hot how you are the leader of the serpents" Caleb said to Rose "thank you she smiles Caleb smiled back at her and I felt excited for the two of them

(15 mins later we had arrived at our destination)

"you brought us to ride a hot air balloon?" I asked Chris and Caleb "yeah I hope you like it" Chris replied. I was extremely afraid of heights but I didn't want him to know that so I just sucked it up and acted confident and got ready for the ride "so are we all going to ride the same hot air balloon?" Rose asked "um I was actually thinking that maybe we could split up with our girls and go on a hot air balloon like I go on one with Rose, and Nova and Chris go on one by themselves sound good?" Caleb asked "sounds good with me" chris and I responded "sounds good with me Rose responded"
(30 minutes later me and Chris were done with our ride and it was now Caleb and Roses turn to go on the ride)

Rose P.O.V
it was Caleb and I turn to go on a hot air balloon ride, once we got in we talked and chatted. "So how's your parents?" I asked. "I don't live with them, I live at the school. He said. I looked up at him in shock. " I'm sorry I shouldn't have asked that. I have an offer, you can live with me at my house." I told him. "Are you sure, your parents are going to say yes?" He replied. "I'm pretty sure, they're very chill and you can sleep in my brother's bedroom." I answered him. "Okay." Caleb said. After that conversation, we talked about other stuff till it was time to get off.

Nova P.O.V

(20 minutes later after we had left the hot air balloon ride we arrived at the restaurant)

"Wow this is such a nice restaurant!" I said to Chris "well I'm glad you like it" he responded while smiling at me. I smiled back "Yeah thank you for bringing us here" Rose politely said to Caleb. "for a pretty girl like you anytime" Caleb responded while giving her a wink.

(After we all had talked and were finished eating the guys paid the bill and we all left)

Rose P.O.V
After dinner, Nova and I went to Piper's house for a sleepover. So when we got there all of us cheerleader girls, hung out, chatted, did each others hair, and makeup. A few hour later Layla said she needed to go get some air. So she did. She didn't come back for a while. So Nova and I decided to go check on her to see if she was okay. We went outside and called out for her. No answer, it was dead silent. All you could hear was crickets and bugs. We walked around the house with a nervous conscious, until I tripped over something, I looked over too see what I could of tripped over and when I looked down I let out a high pitch bloody murder scream and Nova came running towards me. With a horrified look on both our faces of what we just saw.
