CHAPTER 24: NERD, YOU SWEAR A LOT

I step out from his car and stretch a bit and take my bag out, unlike Sanket, Kabir comes out and helps me with my bag even after i told him like ten times that i can manage

From the corner of my eye i saw sanket ruffling his hair and my heart melted, remembering of hair, i too set my hair properly and walked in to see Shruti sitting on Rohan's lap

"Umm what the fuck" Sanket who came behind me spoke my words

They both noticed us and Shruti quickly sat down on the couch

"Ya they have been acting like this, since an hour, i got so bored you know" Kabir said looking at me, maybe my face was giving away the obvious "what just happened" look!

I grab shurti's hand and took her to a side

"What the fuck was that?" I said

"Umm nothing" she lied

My bestie lied on my face

"Dont fucking lie to me" i said "do you like Rohan?" I asked and she stood there quiet, blushing!

"Answer me you dumb ass" i said

"Ya" she said instantly and blushed again

Ugh why she blushing at a question

"And Rohan likes you back?" I enquired

"I dont know" she said

"Look, you are my best friend and you know Sanket and his friends, they are players, and if he hurts you, then i am gonna kill him, but till then, don't do things you will regret later" i tried to school my bestie and hugged her

I find Sanket and Rohan to be playboys, not Kabir because i know he isnt like that, he is like us! But if Rohan uses Shruti and then dumps her, i am gonna stab him

We all sat on the couch eating popcorn and watching some Netflix recommendations, i could see Rohan and Shruti had their hands entangled! They were more cheesy than the popcorn Kabir made!

"Okay so now since Rohan's movie is over, i wanna talk about something" Kabir said

"We are going on the trip but before that, the highschool is starting a band, and we three along with others are there but i need you Aashna" he said and i was shocked

What the fuck! I didnt sign up for this

"And since Shruti said yes on your behalf, we have a party tonight here" kabir added and i gave a death glare to shruti

"Fine i don't mind joining the band, but i didnt sign up for a party" i said "plus i dont have clothes"

"Sanket will drive you and you can get your stuff, for the trip as well, you can leave from here only" he said

"Your house is an hour and a half away" i said

"And all of you knew about the party and the plan for trip" i said

Rohan and Shruti didnt utter a word

"Fuck you" i said

"But if i would have told you, you wouldn't have agreed" he said

"Exactly" Shruti added "and even Sanket has to get his packing for the trip so you guys can go"

"Shruti i hate you" i replied

"And i love you more, now go" she said and i looked at Sanket and then stormed outside

It again took us a long time to reach home, we stopped at my house and he came inside, instead of saving time by packing at his house

"So what dress for the party today?" He said as he looked through my closet

"Do you mind! I am already irritated" I snapped

I packed my bag with my sunscreen, mosquito repellent, perfume, makeup, dress and clothes, shoes and slippers! Basically everything that i needed

"Done" i said

"Finally after three fucking hours" sanket says "why do you girls always take so much time?"

"Because we aint clumsy like you" i replied

"Damn nerd chill, we are gonna fun" he said and to be honest that calmed me down

"What about your clothes?" I said as we came downstairs

"I knew about the plan, mine are packed and in the car" he said and laughed

"Fuckers" i replied

"Damn you do swear a lot" he said

"Thanks to you" i speak my mind

This time since he was very tired, which was adamant as he was continuously yawning and his eyes were closing and opening as if they were forced to be open , i decided to drive back to Kabir's house, this was not easy, we legit fought on the road for half an hour until he gave up, when I threatened him that i aint gonna come for the party ot the trip! Now you might say i care, i do but hey, i didn't want an accident thats it! Don't get your mind's racing too much

Just as i said, after a while, he was asleep like a little baby, in the traffic, i decided to click some of his pictures as he was looking so cute! And after like about three hours, we reached to Kabir's place! Unlike him, i gently parked the car and tried to wake him up
