CHAPTER 18: THE PROPOSAL

Aashna's POV:

I don't know when exactly i fell asleep, but yaa, I remember that he was still holding my hand, i closed my eyes, thinking about whatever he said and thats when maybe i fell asleep!

Sanket's POV:

I woke with a throbbing headache, i felt so sick, but then beside me i saw Aashna sleeping,

Wait what happened yesterday? Did we...? NO NO NO! That could never have happened! Stop thinking about that

I saw out hands entangled together and i tried to let go slowly without trying to wake her up, in which I obviously failed, she got up and adjusted herself

"Ugh my head" i spoke my thoughts

"Isn't that obvious, you were drunk and high" she said in a sleepy tone "what happened yesterday, you said you won't drink?"

FLASHBACK

I remember that I promised her I wouldn't drink if she would give me a reason, next we both went to the location together and she looked Damn hot! I couldn't keep my eyes off her, she was looking so stunning!

While she went to ask Kabir about something, i decided to play some games, from a far, i could see Ava going up to her, i wanted to go but Rohan stopped me! When i looked up again, i couldnt find her

I searched for her and then finally saw her on the dance floor with... Karan! I rubbed my eyes to check again!

Was i drunk? The close proximity between them, i thought Aashna always maintains her personal space!

Then i saw them kiss, a passionate one, they forgot people were surrounding them, anger boiled through me and i just left the place, grabbing a bottle of whiskey, i found a quiet place near the hot tub and sat there, drinking directly from that bottle as that scene flashed through my eyes, Avinash was there a while later who offered me a joint and due to my condition i smoked that up too

The last thing I remember was Aashna driving me home

END OF FLASHBACK

"Umm hello.. what are you thinking?" I saw her waving her hand across my eyes

"Umm nothing nothing" i said quickly, giving away the fact that i lied

"What are you doing on my bed?" I asked

"Umm u asked me to stay" she said " you aren't as bad as you pretend to be, you too have a heart" she said

"Yaa whatever.. ouu" I exclaimed as my headache got worse

"Thats why i told you not to drink, let me get you lemonade" she said getting up from the bed and leaving for the kitchen, i went to the bathroom, the feeling of nausea was the worst, i came out after throwing up and taking a cold shower, i was feeling a little better, i see Aashna making my bed and finding some medicines in my drawers

I sit on my bed and drink the lemonade she had kept while she looks through the box for medicine

"Feeling better?" She asked with a smile

That smile was the best smile ever! Wait Sanket noo stop!

"I will get your food here only, you rest, okay" she said as she took the glass from my hand

"Where are you going?" I ask

"Oh, for lunch" she said and left

I just sat there thinking about everything, i hope I didn't utter something that I shouldn't have! While i was still busy in evaluating my own thoughts, i got a phone call, the caller id said it was of Divya

Me: hey whatsup?

Divya: are you coming back? Its a week long break!

Me: yup i will be coming home, what would i do here all alone anyways

Divya: Cool

Me: okay then

Hangs up

Aashna's POV:

I went to for lunch, I convinced the cook lady, to give me one plate for my roommate as he was sick and thankfully after a lot of buttering, she agreed! I decided to wrap his plate and then have my food

After finishing my food and keeping my plate i saw Karan and his gang enter, he gave me a smile and waved me a hi and i waved him back

As i was about to leave, even Karan stood up on the dining table! Whats with men and dining table!

"Aashna" he said and I froze!

"I have loved those night walks with you, you seem to be a really cool person, i haven't met anyone like you, maybe thats what makes you different, unlike the others girls you have the guts to speak what's wrong and tell that person, despite him being a bad boy or your best friend, damn Aashna, you are constantly on my mind" he said and got down and came near me

"I honestly would be the happiest person on earth, if you would date me! AASHNA WILL YOU BE MY GIRLFRIEND" he said and i was shocked, my hands on my mouth!

"Okay i don't need an answer right now! Take your time" he said and everyone hooted SAY YES SAY YES and .....
